Steamed veggies or a baked potato and I'm happy!

I'm just under 5'. Currently I weigh 138 and would like to get back down to 125.

I've used them. You have to rinse them well when you open the package (and they really smell bad!). The best thing is to boil them and then eat them with sauce, or cook them in a stir fry. The texture is a bit rubbery, but not too bad. I like them. I really like having them with just some butter and grated cheese. they're…

Fish fillet, broiled or baked, small baked potato and green vegetable. (or chicken breast) Minestrone soup with large green salad. Spaghetti (small portion) with marinara sauce and green salad. hope this helps!

So, I've been really sick the past 10 days...severe diarrhea and a very bad cough. I'm much better today. Result of the whole ordeal is a loss of 6 pounds! It's NOT water weight, as someone on another site snidely remarked, because the weight has stayed off for a week now. I'm really tired, and will just chill out today…

Absolutely macaroni and cheese.

I eat what I eat,and don't eat what I don't eat. If anybody doesn't like it, tough ****. As for holiday goodies, I never eat them. Just not interested. This challenge has me revved up and more determined than ever! We can succeed! Just be strong and consider the goal.

Sure! I'm always up for a challenge. 15 weeks? Sounds reasonable. I'd like to drop 10 pounds. Count me in. We'll see how I do.....

I've been a vegetarian for 14 years...almost 15 years and am transitioning to vegan....almost totally there! My reasons are ethical and environmental. I eat all vegetables...never met one I didn't like!...fruits, quinoa, brown rice, tofu, tempeh , almond milk, almond butter, whole wheat bread.

Hello! 4am here in Upstate New York. As usual, I got up at 2. Pleased to report that I have maintained this week. I'm hoping to shed a bit by next week.

Lynda, I was very moved by your post. It was brutally honest and insightful. I could feel all of your pain and turmoil, and it made me cry. I could really relate......the only thing is, is that I am an emotional NON eater! When I'm unhappy, stressed, hurt, etc., I don't eat, eat very little, fast.... My theory being I'll…

Get busy! Find things to distract yourself. Get out and take a walk. Listen to music, watch a movie or some show that you enjoy. Paint your nails. Take a hot shower or a bubble bath.

Hello! I actually am down 3 pounds from last week. That feels good. I'm working hard, and I don't even get hungry. For a treat, I let myself have a diet ginger ale in the afternoon.

Thanks! I'm just under 5', so I'd like to get down to 120, maybe 118. Considering that 3 years ago I weighed 210, I've almost lost a whole person!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You eat the way you eat As long as you don't live on crap, and watch your calorie intake, you're ok. I'm a vegetarian, but that's MY choice and I don't preach my values to anyone. I hate it when some self righteous so and so tells us that we must do things "this way" or fail miserably. Do what works for…

Absolutely have the cookie! Allow yourself a treat now and then or you'll feel deprived and resentful. Deprivation leads to binging and we all know where THAT leads!

Some protein would be best. Scrambled eggs are easy to eat and are comforting, with some nice buttered toast.

Hi. I weighed in this morning (I weigh myself every day) and am down 3 pounds from Monday.

Hi Karen....welcome! Glad you joined the group. I live alone, too....with my 5 parrots! It's a challenge losing weight, but it can be done. I've gone from 210 to 128....I just control my portion sizes and cut out all the "extras". I'm a vegetarian and have been for 14 years.
