I found someone with a leather punch - but I have a very sturdy, solid, supportive leather belt - and I could barely punch a hole in it. Drill zips right through it. :)

Thanks everyone - I did get fitted for shoes, but that was years ago and they're falling apart. New good running shoes is high on my list to buy. Also better socks. And Body Glide. :)

I was putting on pants the other day, and noticed I accidentally buckled around my REAL waist (where my belly button is), and not my "normal waist" (below my "beer belly") ... and I didn't think I looked like a dork or an "old man" who hikes up his pants.

I used to drink a lot of coke zero, pepsi max, diet coke if I had to. I just wanted to wean myself off of craving "sweet". it wasn't the diet drinks, it was the other sweet and "carby" foods that went with the diet drinks - pizza, fried, salty carbs, etc. I don't know, a week or two? Just losing weight - and I guess fat has been hiding muscles and veins. So starting to notice them - and started lifting weights a few weeks ago - but don't feel "muscular" yet - or "hulked out".

The trendlines help me with the fluctuations. Especially SALT which is evil ... instantly gain 2 or 3 pounds!!! ARGH!!! ... but then I drink a lot of water .... it's the trendlines that help. :smile:

i don't want to sustain 1300-1500 cal ... once I get to goal, I want to work with my Dr. and figure out "what I should be" - and then eat enough cal's to stay even, or even eat more and gain muscle. :smile:

Yes. I'm aiming for 1000 cal 100 carbs, but actually averaging about 1350 cal and 90 carbs. And I'm exercising an average 80 minutes/day. Just walked 5 miles uphill treadmill this am, for 1100 cal, according to treadmill. I started at 260.

I've been tracking in a spreadsheet, and my average for 9 weeks is 1350 cal. Sometimes I will fast, and eat near 0, sometimes I will be over and be near 2500. I shoot for 1000, which I already know people will say unhealthy. But my average has been 1350 cal, 80 min exercise. And about 95 g carbs. I'm shooting for <100g…

So, woke up this morning, with my right shoulder really hurting, and can't lift my arm. Thought - oh, I tore something ... :( . Went to ortho Dr., and "just" bursitis. :( Take anti-inflamatory, and some physical therapy - will discuss STRETCHING and warm up with them ... oh well. at least I can still walk.
