1st day gym

Options
Starting weights on circuit machines. Did 45 minutes, 2 sets each, 10 reps. Focused on getting some tone, and fat loss.

The. 15 minutes rowing on 10 - about 2km. Then 30 minutes incline walk at 3.5 mph for 325 cal. 10 minute sauna. 5 min screwing around in the deepens pool for a cool down

    So, woke up this morning, with my right shoulder really hurting, and can't lift my arm. Thought - oh, I tore something ... :( . Went to ortho Dr., and "just" bursitis. :( Take anti-inflamatory, and some physical therapy - will discuss STRETCHING and warm up with them ... oh well. at least I can still walk.

    To reduce the risk of injuries, follow a proven strength program designed by pro.. preferably freeweight-based. A good program for your age group is New Rules of Lifting for Life. Or work with a good personal trainer. :+1:

    Bursitis is a beeyotch. I have it in my hip. Look into K-Tape...it is helpful! You can get it at places like Walgreen's. My ortho suggested PT but I haven't done it...just stretches & k-tape. I can barely walk when it flares up...anti-inflamatory will definitely help but I try not to take it unless its really bad. Good luck
