  • I've worked out during my lunch break and the past and have found it a miserable experience. I had to end up cutting corners and rushing. Exercising after work is a nice stress reliever.
  • I have the same breakfast every day. Honey bunches of oats with unsweetened almond milk. Then around 2 hours later, some kind of granola bar.

  • Don't let anyone make you feel bad about what you're doing. "Glad I don't have to do that?" Well, you probably should be doing it. Who is acting more foolishly in that situation? The person who is monitoring what goes into their body, or the person who isn't? Keep with it, don't let people get you down.
  • Ditto this. Also I love your avatar. Cooking Mama always makes me laugh.
  • A couple things to consider: -Weight fluctuates over the course of the day. Try to make sure you're wieghing yourself at the same time every day. Or better yet, just do it once a week. -Sometimes it takes a little while for your body to get used to its new routine. Don't get discouraged. -Losing weight doesn't mean…
  • 900 calories per day seems pretty severe. Sounds like you were probably starving yourself which isn't going to help you lose weight.
  • One day of binging most likely isn't going to have any effect on your weight. Don't beat yourself up about it.
  • I like the treadmill because it's easier to fine tune the workout. I'm not great at pacing myself outdoors. Also allergies :/
  • I'm not sure if you have a smart phone, but if you do the MFP app is quite handy. When you have to be accountable to the app on your phone, I find that it makes things easier. Once you start losing weight and seeing the results, I think you'll find it easier to turn down that piece of cake or sugary drink. It's not going…
  • I hit a plateau last week. Upped my exercise this week and saw results almost instantly.
  • I've found that once your body gets used to its exercise/diet (maybe around a month or two?) cheat days don't really have any effect. So much so that you can cheat twice a month or so. Don't fret about cheating every now and then, just make sure that you don't let it get you down to the point where you give up on the diet.
