The Actual recipe is this one. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/9827/chocolate-chocolate-chip-cookies-i/ I just swap the chocolate chips for cinnamon. No milk listed there because I was out and didn't want to run to the store for more, they are good without it but better with. Yeah the measurements . Scanned bar codes using…

This taco meat mix is great tasting and freezes well for future use. http://justbento.com/handbook/johbisai/basic-taco-meat-mix There are also other pieces of tastiness there as well, mostly aimed towards lunches.

It's pretty easy to forget how far things travel here most times. This winter was really bad though, everything stuck in NB and couldn't get across :( We even had to put up signs saying due to lower than usual stock that alot of things were not available.

Maybe it's because of you live? Do you live far from the source of the product? Possible climate is affecting it? If your store has those little plastic produce bags you could just buy a handfull of grapes at a time. Open a full bag, take a few and transfer them to the bag. I'm in Newfoundland(near everything has to be…

Lunch for work tomorrow, budgetbyte's Dragon noodles with some eggs, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot and some leftover turkey breast. Not the greatest picture but it'll do for now until the camera is charged up again.

Haha guess I was having a dumb moment with the peeling :p . Trying it combined with cutting it up next time it goes on sale.
-
Thanks for the advice everyone :) Trying roasted rutabaga and potato tomorrow. Really want to try butternut squash since it seems so popular but it'll have to wait for next month's grocery trip :\
-
You can peel asparagus? Somehow that thought never occurred to me :\
-
Will pick some up on next month's shopping trip and try it. If I like it, great! If not, at least I tried it again
-
Haven't tried them sauteed but may give it a shot. Checking out that website though, the less clean up after the better! And if it fits the budget what could be better?
-
Thanks! There are a nice few ideas there and will definately be trying roasted butternut squash asap

Looks delicious! On the menu for next month =D

I usually have 100-200 calories leftover most every day of the week. Find it helps to remember those saved calories for the times you go overboard and think its not affecting your progress as much as you think due to them. Also helps if there is low calorie or healthier options easy to grab for when the munchies hit. a…

Making chicken burgers breaded with panko, some rice and a salad that's yet to be decided on.

Oven roasted chicken thighs, steamed rice and veggies with a little honey garlic sauce =3

Wraps are quick and easy. Slice up the chicken/beef/pork whatever you want to use, onion, peppers, mushrooms, and a clove of garlic. Add the meat, garlic, mushrooms and onions to a pan with a little water and cook. Put in the peppers when almost done and sprinkle with black pepper, salt free mrs dash, lemon and lime juice,…

A sandwich of lightly toasted bread, avocado veggie dip, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese, and two slices of bacon. Two jane's tavern battered cod fillets on the side =)

Try dividing it into as equal portions as possible in different containers after its made. Then change the number of servings to the number of containers? Works for me, 1 serving = 1 container
-
I like to mash them with a little pepper, garlic and dried parsley
-
That is soooo good. I also like to use zesty cheese doritos in place of the fries occasionally =) I like to put fries on my burgers sometimes, or potato chips of any flavour in a sandwich.

Looking up the usda again, there's not much fat on them(fat = nasty to me at least) but I'll probably go with the 1/8 just to be safe. Or I can save them for a 'cheat day' next week but they want in my stomach soon

Chicken cacciatore over rice with veggies and cheese sauce. Also diet blueberry juice because it is amazingly tasty. Because I am addicted to the new slow cooker and it sounded like a good first meal to cook in it. Also it was supper.

Looking around here and from experimentation alot can be put into pasta sauces. Try adding some shredded carrot to your next spaghetti, with some fresh or frozen peppers and some small chopped cucumbers. Pasta salads are nice places for tomato, green onion, carrot, cucumber, peppers and tons more. Try putting cheese sauce…

Wow so many suggestions on rep and they all sound great  Nice to know that they are just as good, or if not slightly better, than fresh. Have to get around to watching that youtube video later tonight. On another note, there is the biggest sale i have ever seen on fresh strawberries this week, two dollars a pound.…
