This is almost as bad as my ice cream bed thread yesterday... almost.
-
Glad to see someone stumbled across raw milk at their local food coop for the first time last week and took to the internet.

Per one of the basic reads in the stickies: 2 weeks is not a plateau. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/841305-corn-used-my-man-parts-as-a-speedbag

Because if I ate a light salad I'd be at near 50% below my TDEE. I ate the Pizza and Ice cream to stay at around -30% TDEE.

100+ lbs of fat on a body is significantly more detrimental to one's health than high LDL. Plus, if you are a keto guy I would expect you to know the truth about cholesterol.
-
It's called not being consistent with logging. You have several 2 and 3 day gaps. Not saying you're doing it wrong, you're just not logging consistently. Ketogenic diets are bad advice for undisciplined people. However, I agree with Gary Taubes. Why We Get Fat is a great, informative, simple read.

I apologize. I'm all defensive. :-)

To help people not fall off the wagon because they ate an ice cream cone.
-
No. My point is to help people understand that they can eat what they want within a calorie deficit and lose weight.
-
My reasons are clearly in the OP.
-
You are correct. Women will have to consume less calories however the same principle applies to both genders.

Great job logging, BTW.

How is the high cholesterol affecting his life? He is at an ideal weight and is fit. I'm not seeing what's negative about this scenario other than a number on a chart...

What you are saying is absolutely true, Doctor. The problem I've found personally with ketogenic diets is cycling off of them after major weight loss. Carb refeeds turned into falling off the bandwagon and eating the SAD (Which is everything WITHOUT MODERATION). As far as eating 300+ calories of straight vegetables vs. a…

You're welcome! I sent you a PM with a MFP resource I think will help you a lot. Don't give up!

Mcdouble (390 cal) + Medium fries (380 cal) + Dominos small cheese pizza slice (190 cal) = 960 calories.
-
You are correct. My statement was a logical incompatibility. Sorry about that. I stand by my second sentence.
-
My heart goes out to people eating only 1000 calories / day.
-
You are correct, Doctor. You also know that a pound of fat is roughly 3500 calories. A 30% deficit plus consistent exercise can reach that in a few days. It's not magical. Neither is it rocket science.
-
Thank you, Doctor for backing my point.
-
It doesn't affect my life because I know the truth. Pizza, ice cream, iguana sticks, etc may not work for some people due to a medical condition such as diabetes. However, if you are free from disease (And most of you are. Your thyroid is fine.) then it's all about the caloric deficit. I take offense to people peddling…

In summary, you ate more calories than your TDEE and gained weight.
-
Love that!

As am I! That sounds like as American a product as any.
