Thanks for the feedback. I feel much better now. I'm not a very sweaty person, so maybe maybe my damp paper towel routine is ok. I do switch them out if they get dry or don't seem to be doing anything besides giving the appearance of wiping down the stuff. Flu season and all. Gotta do my part.

Honestly they aren't that bad for you in the grand scheme of things. Take good care of your teeth, eat a balanced diet, and enjoy your diet cokes. Life is short. Or if you really want to, please them out gradually. No big deal.

I prefer to eat later in the day. There's a lot of hype about breakfast and all, but my body just does not want food at 8am. And if I'm busy/focused, I don't really feel hungry until late. To each his own, I guess.

Never heard of it!

You know who's at the top of the Shakeology pyramid? Bill Cosby. Probably shouldn't drink that stuff.

You put gas in your far before you drive, not after. I also don't believe that eating after a certain time will make you gain weight as long as you eat at a calorie deficit. That's really the most important thing. Eat and a deficit and get some exercise. The only thing maybe to consider is sleep disturbances/heartburn if…

I had the exact same issue as you. I felt compelled to eat and it was like I couldn't control myself. I finally saw my doctor and got treated for anxiety. Maybe seeing your doctor would help. It's made a huge difference for me. Good luck!

I don't avoid socializing, but I totally understand the urge to. I come from a nosy/pushy family that cannot keep their eyes on their own plates and it's exhausting trying to explain what/why I'm eating whatever I choose, then politely trying to change the subject before they tell me about how I should try raspberry…

Like others have said, your goal is reasonable and can be reached through eating at a calorie deficit and getting appropriate exercise. If you feel like you need to "cleanse" or restrict your diet somehow, you should take a good look at your habits and make sure you aren't falling into disordered eating patterns. Just stay…

The good news is that GM farming practices can help keep soil healthy, can help conserve water, can and produce safe, nutritious food, too! As far as suspected causes of ccd, a definite cause has yet to be sussed out, as there are several factors in play. As others have said, there's no cause for concern in serving your…

I'm also pleased to see so many responses that favor facts and science over "toxins" and "chemikillz" it really gives me hope!

The "dirty dozen" list is provided by the environmental working group. They are not an objective source for info on organic vs GM food. One look at their website shows some anti-vax leanings too. They rely on the emotional response to terms like "natural, pure, toxin, clean, dirty" etc to pick up where lack of science to…

Also, bradycardia is defined as a normal heart rate of less than 60 bpm. A lower resting heart rate for say, a marathon runner is one thing, but to be obese and have slower rate is troublesome. If the heart isn't pumping blood efficiently, the blood pressure drops, **** gets real.
-
Pardon me for not quoting here, but sodium can help with retaining water, which affects blood pressure, which affects heart rate. I don't know all the terminology here, but it does make a difference. It's not a fun experience to be without a pulse, and it sucks to feel like you can't be as intense with your workouts as…

If the glass if curved or angled it will distort the reflection. Your own perception can screw with what you see in the mirror. Might be more helpful to have a friend take a picture of you at a normal/straight on angle and in good lighting for a better representation of how you actually look. I doubt that anyone is a great…

This! Eating too few calories can mess with your supply. Make sure you're drinking plenty too. Congrats on the new little one and good luck with breastfeeding!

Staying well hydrated and listening to my body are the only things that really help me. I also have orthostatic hypotension so it can be frustrating to try to workout when anything too strenuous can lead to dizziness/fainting.

You don't necessarily need a fitness tracker, though they are handy. A food scale is really one of the most helpful things, though. You can get a basic one for just a few dollars in Walmart. Mfp uses your height/weight/age/activity level to estimate your average daily calorie burn, and then recommends a calorie amount for…

I'm a real crackerjack.

Yep. You misunderstood. My personal daily deficit is 650. Works really well for me. My macros are also set at a comfy 50/30/20 and carbs are the real mvp. ;)

I avoided pizza today. It was calling my name, but I fortified and had some chicken instead. Might treat myself this weekend though.

And pizza, yes?

I've had a lot of ups and downs with my weight and when I start feeling discouraged about how much weight I've lost I go to the store and look at one pound packages of ground beef. It makes me feel better. So far I've lost ten pounds, but ten pounds of hamburger is a lot! I guess it could also work the opposite way. If I…

Go Kaleo is great! I love Disrupt Your Diet too. All you really need, physiologically to lose weight in a healthy way is a calorie deficit of 500-1000 calories a day. That's 1-2 pounds a week. You can lose weight comfortably by sticking to around 1500 calories or so (talk to your doctor about this number) and by being more…

You'd be smart to stay away from any endeavor where part of your "job" is recruiting your own competition.
