What kind of juicer did you order? I just got in a Omega VSJ843RS, I haven't had the chance to use it yet but am planning a juice fast to kick things off.

I put them in the list because those are all stuff I have never tried or tasted before, there more "exotic" and not usually found in the grocery store. Before I specifically go on the hunt for them I decided to come here instead. So far on the list the only one I have been convinced enough to buy is coconut oil, mainly for…

And thanks for the replies, I just wanted to throw the definition of super food out. A superfood can essentially be classified as any food item that contains an extremely dense concentration of vital nutrients, vitamins and/or minerals, as well as antioxidants, good fats, healthy enzymes, or other healthy properties that…

Yes I did but on this one asked about the ingredients listed above, if you have experience with any let me know. Thanks

I thought the red meat scare was because of the higher cholesterol diet? Something about people should eat a higher carb based. Last time I looked I read that only 20% of the cholesterol we eat is absorbed into our body, much less than what was understood during the red meat scare. I personally eat eggs in the morning and…

Have you used them all?

I lost 110 and gained 106 back in about a year. lmfao, you just gotta get back to it

I would agree by having the person you heard this from to specify. I can't think of any religious cultures that favors physical gluttony, most cultures favor fasting. I would guess its more of a spiritual saying like @leanjogreen18 stated.

I have not considered therapy and don't plan to pursue it. As far as why I eat, I always have ever since I was little, it's not a emotional issue, it's a physical one, hunger and dopamine release. I wouldn't say the accident was traumatic, I never missed a day from work over it and it didn't really make me change my…

I endlessly searched for something to bring me joy, I'm a food addict in every sense of the word, I eat not only because I'm hungry all the time but because I really enjoy it, it's like getting high, I was miserable all the time, wanting something so bad but having to limit myself was exhausting. I had massive success…

Thanks everyone, it's just part of my journey, nobody said it was going to be a gold lined highway lol

Try increasing your intake, I found if I don't eat enough food that my body holds onto fat more, i have gained weight on 1100 cals but lost again at 1600 but gained again at 1800-1900, I try to eat protein based and I keep eating till I reach my cal limit

Hopefully people don't take it as far as I did but I know they do and worse. If it helps one person it will be worth posting

No I wasn't, I had a few drinks while cutting the grass a few hours before I set off, but I was more confident in my speed at that point I guess, if I didn't hit the gravel I wouldn't have had to lay the bike down, I have a picture of it, the whole 3 way intersection was covered in gravel, every time I touched my breaks…

Wow look at all the responses lol, I just wish that I stuck with it but I didn't, I ended up wrecking my motorcycle because of it, but well not directly, I was going too fast and hit gravel, laid the bike down into a guardrail, was in the ER for 8 hours with road rash, 3 chipped teeth and some nasty bruises where my arm…

Don't worry about sodium, just make sure it's quality salt like sea and forget the other natural salts, Morton table salt is garbage and has no nutritional value. Stay away from refined and processed sugars, make desert fruit being it has fiber and other things that help not spike your blood sugar. In my experience, I can…

Bahahahaha that's funny right there. I'm under 1000 today, prob around 900. I planned to eat more but got aggravated with my weight and didn't, I spent the last 6 months treating everyday like it was thanksgiving.

I sent a request, if you have any questions feel free to ask, unfortunately what works for one person doesn't work for all, I had to find out by weighing myself daily and tracking everything I ate, playing with carbs and cals till I found my sweet spot for weight loss without losing muscle. Good luck on your journey

I sent you a request

If the ingredients are all natural, no dyes or preservatives ext. the yeast for modern bread is tricky, it is natural but back in the day without it there breads didn't rise like it does today. Also the bleached flour has more chemicals added. So with a quality and well researched yeast (how it was produced ext), a non…

If you had a family farm in the United States 100 years ago they were most likely growing corn, wheat, soy, tobacco or potatoes that is correct but it's the family farms garden I'm more interested with the broccoli and lettuce as you put it, point is to eat stuff that hasn't been meddled with by chemicals or genetically…

Thanks for all the replies, looks like I have some cooking todo lol

I don't believe anyone has said this one yet, this is a saying I have had and used since I was in 8th grade or earlier. "Nothing to it. but to do it" Sometimes the motivation to start is more powerful than reaching the goal.

Food restrictions? Everyone has food restrictions, if you plan to lose weight get used to being hungry, the two go hand in hand, it's really tough sometimes. Make yourself a program, cut out totally, foods that you over eat with and just focus on sticking to your program. Keep your mind busy and off food, that helps

I have lost 110lbs already and weight 263lbs lol I have around 70lbs left to loose, I have been told by the last doc I saw at 198lbs I would be 0% fat so we will see when I get closer to there.

The bars I eat are "life choice" from Walmart, they range from 18-20g of protein and 180-210 cals per bar and are much lower carb than even power bar is. For the protein to cal/carb ratio I haven't found a better bar. They have a bunch of flavors also, peanut butter, mint choc chip, double fudge, choc chip cookie dough,…

100 cals and how much protein? Your only gonna get around 10g for that. Your better off eating a large hard boiled egg which is 70 cals and 18g of protein.
