  • I always do an easy run the day after a bigger run. Cross training is better than pushing too hard and getting injured. Hills or track sprints are fun when you are getting bored to change it up a bit...and they will help your speed on your next flat run.

  • You are probably gaining muscle at the same time as burning all that fat so it seems like you hit a plateau but if you checked your body fat content...I bet it has improved. KEEP IT UP, CHICA!!! You've come so very far already and that bootcamp stuff is not easy. Don't lose heart now!!! ;-)
  • Thanks for the advice, Husker. I just printed a bunch of fatty type photos and taped them all over the foods in my kitchen that my hubby buys - and I should not be eating. Let's see if it works. At least it's funny.

I'm not much of a cook but my weight watcher friends swear by learning new healthy low-cal recipes from these sites and actually learning how to eat rather than having to rely on pre-packaged foods shipped to their door to count calories.
