Hi Sam, Welcome. I too go over the fat allowance. I have been trying to work on that. You can change what you want to monitor such as sodium and fiber.

Logging your food does make you more aware of what your eating. I didn't realize how much fat I was eating. I try to stay away from processed foods. I watch my portion sizes and always add fresh fruit and vegetable to my meals.

I'm pretty new on here also, one week. Three pounds is a great start. Having to log in your meals and exercise has been a huge motivator for me. Good Luck.

Hello, plan your meals for the day and don't have any high calorie junk food in the house. If it's there it's a temptation.

No, it wasn't easy Egyptian. I don't usually have trouble with the strength exercises but the cardio part. Hopefully I can work up to level 3.

I don't have a smart phone. I have been writing it down or going straight to the computer and inputting.

MFP does seem to be a great support system. I have lost 1 pound in the week I have been on here and have been exercising.
