so i am pretty new here on MFP and i have realized that tracking my food makes me think about food way more than i used to. while i am trying to pick and choose between the good and the bad, i find that i end up loosing the battle. so my question to you all is does it get better the longer i track and is there any tips you might be able to give me. thank you

 It really helps me to have lots of friends on here and to view their food diaries for new healthy food ideas. Feel free to add me and browse my blog--it's where I've started saving all of the great recipes people are posting on MFP.

Logging your food does make you more aware of what your eating. I didn't realize how much fat I was eating. I try to stay away from processed foods. I watch my portion sizes and always add fresh fruit and vegetable to my meals.
  • that sounds like a really good idea. i'm going to start preparing tonight for tomarrow. thank you:smile:

I agree with this and am working at improving and avoiding all the sugary sweets I used to eat daily.
