Hi there. Like what others mentioned eating healthy fats is a great way to add calories. I don't have any issues gaining, in fact it's the opposite for me. But I have celiac disease and found through elimination diets that I'm also sensitive to certified gluten free corn and oats. I am going for testing in another couple…

Hey there! You are all a inspiration! I was a size 14 US after having my son (actually I lost 30lbs shortly after having him and was a size 10 but I started medication to boost my milk supply and I gained over 20lbs in just a couple months of being on it and I just kept going up). It took me a very long time as I was…

Way to go! To post a picture I think you upload it to a hosting site like photobucket and copy and paste the img tags (looks like this with a URL but no spaces between the brackets [ IMG ] ). I've never put a picture on the forums so I'm not sure, but I think it would work like that.

Leaky gut is real and no cleanse will heal it. I read a good book, Digestive-Health-Gastroparesis/dp/0991503112 , and there's lots of information in it on how leaky gut occurs. I suspected leaky gut since I've been having issues for years but I wasn't sure. First they thought it was my gallbladder and were going to remove…

I was around 182 and it took me about a year to lose 24lbs. I was breastfeeding and didn't want to lose too fast. Now that my son has weaned I've started losing again and instead of a .5 lb/week average I lose 2lbs/week.

I've done all the tech support stuff so far (soft reset and hard reset). So far today is the first day it didn't drop sync so hopefully the last hard reset worked.
-
They actually called me which was nice. Think we figured it out, the app dropped sync with the band. Because it was tracking some stuff we didn't realize it at first.
-
I did contact them but I was hoping I could find the info myself. I was using the Fitbit charge and it was very easy. I am not a newbie to tech so I don't know why I am having such a hard time with this.

I just bought a Up 3, but I am not sure if I will keep it as it isn't tracking my sleep or heart rate. :( It says on the Jawbone website that the new firmware will have it auto track sleep and resting heart rate but I see nothing there. If I figure it out and keep it, it would be nice to have some friends. :)

Well I ended up getting a Jawbone Up 3 because I read that they were good for tracking sleep and resting heart rate. But it's not tracking my sleep or any heart rate. If I can't figure it out I'll return it but hopefully I can.

Thanks. Garmin has pretty good reviews. So far this Fitbit has to be charged twice a day and I've read a lot on here how people have the same issues with battery. I'm just going to get something cheap I think so if I have to keep replacing it I'm not out too much.
-
FYI the reason I thought of the flex is because I have a gift certificate I can use for it. Also, the charge I borrowed is dead and it was full last night and it was dead by noon. I don't want to spend a lot when I hear about the battery issues.

It took me a year to lose 20 lbs. I was breastfeeding and didn't want to lose too quickly because toxins are stored in fat cells and can go into your milk. I ate about 2,000 calories with exercise. Now that my son is basically weaned I'm eating about 1200-1400 calories and losing much faster. I won't be eating this low for…

Way to go! It's so hard to lose the mom pouch for some of us, mine seems like it will never go away. That's great progress you've made.

Congrats! There is no point in using MFP if you are not honest with yourself. And gaining strength is important IMO, keep it up!
