  • I'm not an excellent form swimmer by any means, but I think I burn a decent amount of calories while swimming. I wasn't terribly hungry either, and the water is cold for me. My husband tore three ligaments in his ankle/heel and swimming is the only exercise besides physio that he can do right now so I've been going with…
  • My husband is doing keto right now. He did it a few years ago and lost 50lbs in about 3 months. He eventually gained it all back when he quit smoking a year and a half ago. Now that he felt confident in not smoking he is back on keto and doing well. He tried just logging his food, and he was losing a bit, but he really…
  • I'm not sure if you were talking to me or somebody else. I didn't do keto. I just ate my daily allowance and weighed everything that went into my mouth. I walked every day and did/do weights occasionally when I'm not in a lot of pain. lost my first 25+lbs that way. Then I was diagnosed with celiac disease and when I…
  • Randi, there's a picture of a camera while you're posting. It's above the text box. You hit that and click where it says to choose a file. I hope that helps. And good for you, it can be hard to maintain.
  • Thanks. Right now I'm about 150. My husband thinks I'm the same but I can tell the way my clothes fit for sure. I also got accidentally contaminated about a week and a half ago and it causes a lot of inflammation and bloating. Last week I couldn't even fit into any pants I had because I looked pregnant. But that went…
  • My journey was a long one with slowly losing because I was breastfeeding and then having health issues. As you can tell from my hair. Starting was 187lbs and ending was between 135-137lbs. I'm 5'4" tall. Before: After:
  • I started at 187lbs when my son was 10 months old. I breastfed for years and wanted to lose slowly so my journey was pretty long. I'm happy with it though because I feel I keep it off easier. I lost the first 25lbs in a couple years I think. Then a few years ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease and I lost another 10+…
  • Congrats, that's amazing! I have celiac disease, but before I was diagnosed I was grain free for a while because I get very painful inflammation in my joints (my hips, fingers, and shoulders/upper arms are the worst, it hurts just to lay down) from most grains. I have a sensitivity to gluten besides the celiac, along with…
  • You were one of my inspirations when I first started my journey! Thank you for your posts. You still look great!
  • Wow, you look amazing!
  • I am 5'4" and my highest weight (not including pregnancy because I was almost 200lbs) was 187lbs. That's where I started this time 4 years ago when my son was almost a year old (he's now almost 5). I am now around 140lbs. I lost weight pretty slowly. I was breastfeeding and ate around 2000 calories and didn't subtract my…
  • What a huge difference even in your face!
  • Wow, great job! And you're right about making small changes.
  • You look amazing! I eat more during ovulation as well. I get ravenous lol. But I burn slightly more at that time because I always still lose.
  • Way to go! Isn't it the best feeling?!
  • Love this thread! Haven't lifted in a while though. Finally got back to it after strengthening my hips and getting some inflammation down from my hips and neck. Then moved my weights to have a bit more room and injured my rotator cuff. But I still love to see everyone's progress!
  • Great job! But I really wanted to wish you well and say I hope you're feeling better.
  • I'm very sorry for your loss. You're progress though is amazing.
  • You look amazing!

  • I lost at least 30lbs within a couple months of having my son, but then my supply was low. Once I started taking domperidone I gained 25lbs back! I found it really hard to lose weight while breastfeeding because I was so hungry. But for me, knowing my baby was getting the best and I had the rest of my life to diet helped.…
  • I love this thread! I make herbal Pet Remedies and although I make a joint care product that works I always tell owners of overweight dogs they need to lose the weight. It's proven that a leaner dog lives longer. Good for those of you that are helping your pet by keeping their weight down!
  • Thanks! And great job, you look amazing!
  • Wow, amazing! How long between those days? Do you mind telling me what app you are using that tracks your lifts?
  • I have celiac disease and I have to be careful that nothing even gets contaminated. I used to eat mostly paleo like, but after finding out my corn allergy is much worse than it is I'm avoiding a ton of food right now. I have some paleo and Keto recipes on my app. I'm not sure how to share them. Maybe just send you the…

  • Not right now, but hopefully soon!
  • It's hopefully not a long term thing. Just until I figure out exactly what I can't eat because like I said corn has contaminated most foods. And the 20g is about the lowest, today I had 44g. I saw a dietician whom was no help. The nutritionist I've been seeing has helped much more.
  • I average about 1,000-1500 a day depending on the day. I can get my calories up there because I make things line banana ice cream (which is just bananas, cashew butter, and raw cacao) and coconut yogurt. I can eat nuts but I have to be careful and only have certain brands that are safe. Honestly corn has really…
  • That's awesome! Do you notice a difference in your RA? I've heard it can help.
  • No, it's actually corn that's the one I've recently found out about. I have celiac disease as well, plus a ton of food intolerances. I knew corn, gluten, buckwheat, and oats caused me very bad inflammation in my hips, fingers, and knees (could be agates causing my "fibromyalgia" neck pain as well because I think my doctor…
