I started P90X on Monday! I'm using endomondo and a HRM to log calories under cardio for all of the days. I'm waiting for my fitbit charge HR to arrive from backorder so I'll have to reevaluate how I log things after that. 3 days down and I'm having a hard time lifting my arms this afternoon.

I really enjoy reading the posts about people who obviously have no idea what a minimum wage workers life is like. Where do you think 99.9% of these successful people started? Making at or near minimum wage. They then made decisions that led them out of that life. I've worked in supermarket's, factories, and apartment…

Hi, I'm Brian. I'm 40 (for a few more days) and am currently down 26 pounds with 45 more to go. All FR are welcome.

Shrank out of one belt and back into the one that didn't fit any more. Also had to tighten a notch on my fitbit wrist tracker because it was getting very loose where I usually wore it.

I must go with The Original Series! Even though production and scripting are a bit corny by today's standards, it was a true original when westerns dominated television. Besides, without it no one would have gotten to enjoy TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise or any of the movies. That being said TNG took Gene's concept further…

For me I've found that when I begin losing weight (I've started far too many times) that the scale motivates me because I can see progress there that isn't immediately noticeable other ways. As I get thinner it transitions from the scale, to the clothes, to the fitness level. I think everyone has to find the measure that…

I'm just recently back on the wagon but my first goal is get down to 250 pounds. That'll be a little over 20 pounds lost. After that I want to be down to 225 by my birthday (8/18). I'll get to celebrate by tossing out my 40" and then my 38" pant sizes.

The only time I've deleted friends is after 3 months of being absent. If they're still checking in, even intermittently I try to give what support I can.

I started this journey at 261#. Right now I've worked down below 245#. I will not see a number higher than 245# again and I'm on my way to 200# territory in 2012.

Too much of ANYTHING can be bad for you. Everything in moderation is my motto. (Someday I might even live up to it.)

Welcome! The up and down story of weight loss. We've all been there and we all need support. You've found a great place to get it. Stay active and build up some friends that will support you. It's been keeping me on track... mostly. Add me if you'd like.

I've found the support of friends here valuable. Even one word comments help keep me motivated. I'm not wordy but I try to be a consistent voice for my friends. Add me if you'd like.

Everyone wants to lose it fast. I suggest focusing on steady rather than fast. If it takes you twice as long to reach your goal as you want it to will you be still be happy when you get there? I think you will. You can do this one day at a time. If you have a bad day just start again the next. Before long the bad days will…

I weigh in daily. In the morning after bathroom and before my shower. It keeps me accountable throughout the week. When I weigh weekly I do not stay as focused on the goal ahead of me and then I get caught by surprise on weigh in day. It helps pull me back on track if I do have an off day.

I weigh in daily. It keeps me focused all week long.

It sounds like you're getting the rest you need and giving your body time to recover. With an hour and a half of cardio you may not have been eating enough to fuel your body. Enjoy the break and when you get back to the exercise try a new strategy. You'll have to find out what works for you.

Since 20 oz. of watermelon is only 160 calories. I'd say it would be really hard to eat too much watermelon. Hmmm... Watermelon sounds really good right now.

The temptation to cheat is always there but I log it all. I figure I've lied to myself about how much I'm eating for years. It's time to be honest if I'm ever going to get this under control.

It will take dedication but that's realistic. Go for it!

All Right! It took an entire day to erase Easter dinner plus 1/2 a pound. I'm a half pound away from hitting double digits. I picked up the 30 day shred today and plan on starting that tonight. Maybe I'll be 10 down in the morning.
