Hello everyone. Excellent weekend, my barn is about 90% complete after 3 months of trying! Has anyone tried cooking with an electric pressure cooker. I had ordered on and cooked ribs in it Saturday night, man were they tender and juicy. Now I just need to come up with recipes that Jordan and I like. I holds 6 qts so I can…

Morning all, well all these workout reports are making me feel inadequate!. I guess that's kinda the point, peer pressure. So seeing as my weight is at its lowest in 20 years, I feel the need to tone/strengthen my arms and legs plus I would really like to tighten up the mid section. I have always had a 'gut' of varying…

-3 three this morning, SUV would not start so I had to use the big truck. Still not into cooking mode. Gotta get there fast as I have started to feel the way I used to from eating poorly. Still grazing on chocolates, need to just throw them out but they remind me of my wife who love them and could afford to eat them (5'4 -…

Morning all, whipped up a goulash last night. Ground beef various vegetables in a big pot. Tasty, at least healthier than most things and will last for several meals ( the best part ).

Thanks all.

Well I have not been participating in the community very much but I have realized benging on chocolate does not help. Over the last month I have reverted back to some old habits, some due to stress and some due to not having it done for me. The six months previous to that I had dropped 95% of the sugars and grains out of…

Well Merry day after Christmas. I know I have not been very consistent the last couple of weeks, life has its way of getting the way of your plans. Spent the day with my 11 YO and went over to friends for dinner and did a little AR15 construction :) I feel I ate very responsibly and the food was excellent considering my…

I think life may start getting back to normal a little. I put my daughter on a plane back to Germany this morning and i am back to work for the second day in a row. Still working on the diet thing I have to learn how to cook for myself again, tall order after 20 years.

Hello to everyone. I'm back after a rough two weeks. My diet has been poor but I am down to 200 for the first time in 25? years. I was able to visit with my daughter for the last week while she was visiting from Germany, she brought chocolates. Appears that a lot of you have been very consistent this month.

Yes kris3b, I was one of "them", it was the first time I ever have. The line was 4 isles long and I ended up with a piece of paper to redeem later. Had good conversation with folks in line. Not a terrible experience but will not likely do it again soon. Welcome.

Happy Thanks giving all! Started the day early with a wakeup from work, broken computers stuff. Then a good ham and egg breakfast. Of building the barn all day till dinner @ 3PM. I was good and ate moderate amounts of turkey, yams, bacon wrapped green beans :D and a little stuffing. Oh and a small piece of pumpkin pie.…

I guess I should get back into the habit of checking in. Happy Monday. I'm back @ work after a 3 day weekend of barn building and deer hunting. The nice thing about the deer hunting is I tend too walk quite a bit, 3-5 miles. Not a huge amount but it is up and down hills.

Morning everyone, Got a message from Carol chastising me to come back. I have been keeping up with good eating habits but cant seem to get into exercise. I did a squat challenge last month but did not continue. Deer season started this weekend so I've walked about 12 miles. Going to be building a barn this week too. Of…
