  • With 777Gemma888's guidance, I'm giving this one last shot. I post food and bread pics on a lot of forums, and this is the ONLY one that will not accept the straight image syntax from Photobucket. Not sure if this forum is budget or state-of-the-art software, but it's a lot of work regardless. Here goes... Breads I made…
  • Welcome, Will. I'm losing weight under the guidance of a nutritionist at the VA. I'm allocated 1500-1700 each day, which does not seem like a lot, but I'm eating SIX times each day. As was said before, it's all about WHAT you're eating, not so much how much you're eating. I happen to love fruit & vegetables, so my between…

  • Made bread today to enter in the local county fair, so dinner of spaghetti, meatballs & homemade garlic bread was thrown together so we could get my entries to the fair before the deadline. All baked today and delivered to the Lake County (Ohio) Fair tonight. I must have set the bar last year for breads, because there were…
  • I'm required to weigh in and log my weight every day (along with ALL food logging) until next Monday when I visit the nutritionist at the VA for the second visit. • Just an FYI, my wife has had several fitbits over the last couple of years, and really enjoyed telling me how many steps she had taken each and every day. It IS a good motivational tool, but I must say they do not do well in the washing machine when someone forgets it in a pocket. This why she has owned SEVERAL over the…
  • Sorry!! I was trying your instructions then deleted them. I'll leave them here for you to try to get them to work. Thnaks for your help. This usually works on my other forums easily. Joe
  • 100 Calorie rye sandwich thins. I eat a healthy sandwich with one of these at lest 4-5 days each week. These are made with my regular rye bread recipe, and I simply portion 1.5oz of dough then roll out about 4-5". Let rise for 45 minutes then bake for 13-15 minutes.
