5'5 female and averaging 1800 - 1900 cals/day and losing at least a pound a week :D
-
haha  it also depends on your microwave ;) happy eating :)
-
I'm in love with Quest Bars I swear.... First when I tried them I was like 'meh'. But after microwaving them and finding the flavours I really liked, I got addicted  haha My favourite are: Cookies n Creme & Double Chocolate Chunk each microwaved for 17 seconds  So good !!!! I eat it like dessert and it really…

100g isn't much at all to be honest =/ But I feel it also depends on what type of exercises you're doing. For instance, if you're lifting heavy, you will need extra protein than someone who is not because you need the extra to repair them. I do intense cardio 3x a week + lift heavy 4x a week and I eat at LEAST 160grams of…

Thank you so much everyone for your responses :) kinda helps clear up some of the confusion =/ Do you guys think TDEE-15% is a bit too low when trying to lose weight ?
-
I guess I'm just afraid of not eating enough calories because I don't want to deprive my body of anything =/ When can you guys tell it's time to up them? I really don't want to mess up my metabolism ><
-
Ooohh thanks so much everyone ! Should I be doing TDEE - 10% as I get closer to my goal ? or just jump back to my TDEE calories once I reach my goal? =/
-
Hmm..but I'm not looking to gain back the weight I lose =/ maybe just maintain? Did you ever feel lethargic when you were cutting?
-
I am currently 5'4.5 and weigh roughly 150 pounds. Hmm I've only been lifting for about 7 weeks so I guess it's still a bit early for me ? I do a bunch of exercises but main ones are 5x5 squats 130lbs deadlifts 135lbs overhead press 50lbs (just started) bench press 75lbs (just started) @stephanielynn Thanks!!! So I should…

Thanks so much everyone :D I always have the hardest time trying to find asian restaurants with nutritional information sigh :(
-
Thanks everyone !! :D I'm just going to hope for the best this saturday :P and I'll for sure try sticking to the simple foods :)
-
Thank you so much for your replies everyone :D I just wish all restaurants would have nutritional info listed :C I find that especially the non-chain ones (ie. Korean restaurants) don't really seem to list this =/ I guess I will try and find an estimate for the foods and hope for the best :P
-
I lift 4x a week and do high intensity cardio 3x a week. Lifting I'll alternate from arms/upper body to legs/lower body :D
-
May I ask how much of a deficit you're eating from your HRM TDEE ?
-
Haha :P well that was like a year or two ago and I've worked really hard to recover from it but I've gained a lot of weight doing so. I can safely say that I don't have an ED mindset anymore so it's not my biggest concern right now...I was just saying that it is one of the main reasons why I'm not lwoering my intake too…

This was actually one of the topics I've talked to my doctor about, but the only answer she provided me was that I was eating too little.... =/
-
I've tried many times with the doctor about weight issues and anorexia but I feel that they're not really experience in that particular area....I've been to 3 doctors already and I don't find them very helpful =/ Do you happen to know how much muscle women can put on on average ? I thought you couldn't gain muscle without…
-
Yes I have! I changed up my lifting routine about a week and a half ago :) Hm...can muscle be gained that fast ?? I'm kind of new to the whole heavy lifting thing =/
-
Yea I'm more than positive that I am logging correctly.. I literally log every single bite, and weigh everything to the gram Hmm...I've tried lowering to 1600 with the macros but I started experience similar symptoms that I did back when I had anorexia (period stopping, hair falling out, acne, etc.)...
-
Right now there are complications with my health card so I'm unable to go see a doctor atm :( for the while I'm wondering if I can do other htings to help get it back. I know for sure that I'm not undereating (averaging 1900 cals/day) but I find that most of the foods I enjoy eating have little to no fat... I'm just…
-
Thank you so much for such a detailed response :D Learning so much!! Haha. Just one last question...if I am lifting 4x a week and doing cardio 3x a week, what would my activity level be? When I'm not working out I mostly have a desk job (apart from 2 - 4 miles walk / day for transportation)
-
Thank you so much for your replies :) The only reason I'm worried is because my period has stopped and I'm wondering if it's due to the low amount of fat I'm getting. It's not that I don't want to eat fat but it's because the foods that I mostly like to eat have little to no fat in them :(
-
Wow! Thank you so much :D Haha, I'm pretty new to lifting so I'm still very confused :$ Could you recommend a good TDEE calculator? (if you've used one)
-
Also, is 5 sets of 6 reps a good lifting routine?
-
Oh I see. Thank you so much for your insights :) How much of a deficit would be good for losing body fat ?
-
Thank you for your reply :) may I ask which calculator (if you're using one) you're using for TDEE?
-
Hmm, aren't smith machines the ones where the bar stays on the machine? I meant the ones where the bars come off =/ Sorry, I'm sort of new to the weight lifting aspect so I may not have the terms right... But it was a squat rack then is it 45 lbs? It looked very similar to the olympic bars
