Thank you everyone. You've all made me feel better about booking a place - if I manage to :) Veloman, I understand where you are coming from but it's not the case, I'll get my name down for a cancellation when I am at my class on Saturday morning :)

Thanks :)

Yeah it does sound silly doesn't it? I just don't want to feel awkward and as if I have taken one of their "friends" places. Which is effect I would have done lol

Gah - I've still not been. I'm so rubbish :(

Also just discovered that my local leisure centre offers FitSteps which looks interesting. :)

Thanks guys. I could go to classes or to the gym (forgot to say that one) every day. I want to tone up really. When I was younger I was very active - gymnastics, trampolining, aerobics - not on a high level or anything but I did it a lot during the week. But now I am at a standstill. My biggest fear is being unco-ordinated…

Thank you :)

I really want to start these and my local gym run both - should I give both a go? I've seen on the timetable that I can do one after the other - would this be okay? Also are there beginners classes does anyone know or is it a case of just leaping in at the deep end? Can anyone advise what is best to wear please?

Hi. I want to tone up and get more active:) I'm also not a "spring chicken" anymore. When younger I was always active doing gymnastics, trampolining etc- not on any high scale level though. I've not started any classes yet but I am itching to,just don't want to feel like I am drowning if I start classes. Rachel
