  • 9 weeks, hon? Enjoy that baby, take it easy, focus on your eating, and add exercise as you are able. There's truth to the 9 months to gain, 9 months to lose mindset. You'll get there.
  • Yep, I have low Vitamin D and iron. So, to cure all, I just do two children's chewables daily (think Flintstone vitamins). Also replaces having to take prenatals.
  • I've gotten bored with the stationary bike, treadmill, and elliptical too. To mix it up, I add rowing machine and a stair stepper here and there. But, the best change up is to do total body workout videos, like those found on fitnessblender.com. Love them. You get cardio, strength, etc. and you can find many videos with…
  • I agree with others. If you crave/want fast food, and it fits into your daily nutrition goals, so be it, enjoy. Other than protein, check how your sodium intake is. It's easy for it to be too high, but if not enough, could be another reason you're craving fast food, as it's generally very high in sodium.
  • I get it, I do. But just so you know, it's nothing like mushed up bananas. I was just using the title from the link. If I could change it, I would.
  • I can, but this fits into my macros a whole lot better. And I like mixing in whatever topping /flavors I'm in the mood for at that moment. P.S. I never said I can't have real ice cream.
  • When one wants real ice cream, go for it. The frozen bananas, once blended, become 5 servings of half cup each (just like your other examples), but mine is only 50 calories.
  • Awesome! I think it's a great alternative to when bananas go bad or natural, good for you dessert.
  • The one ingredient is the original recipe of just frozen bananas. I posted my quick add-ons.
  • Do you, along with others, really think that I believe this is ice cream? No, of course not. But again, the texture and coldness of it all with toppings hits the spot just right.
  • I understand, that's just the attention grabber I guess.
  • It's no Haagen Dazs or Breyers, but in a pinch and to "fit the mold," it suffices. P.S. If you look to how it's blended/creamed, it doesn't come close to eating a frozen banana.
  • Yes, I know Bombshell it's not ice cream exactly, the texture and coolness of it highly mimics ice cream. Then, if you add mix-ins, within reason of course, it can be even more ice cream like.
  • P.S. It is searchable in the database and is the first 3  items that come up.
  • Better yet, apply the same thought process you did for selecting such an awesomely balanced breakfast towards your lunch, dinner, and snacks
  • I'm 33, will be 34 next month. I started 3 months ago at 146. MFP's first goal for me was 1250 calories per day. I workout 4-5 times per week, but only about 150-300 calories burned, so not super intensive. I log everything judiciously, including water. My initial goal was 135. I did that in the 2 months and then changed…
  • If you search MFP Exercise database for stroller, it's in there.
  • I recently found this website with a husband and wife duo that have all kinds of workouts posted, many that don't require any or minimal equipment. They have full length warm-up and cool down videos and then actual workouts too that start at 20min and up. I've done two of their workouts so far and they're great. Clear…
  • THIS! I'm a planner, and if you're a busy mom, I bet you're a planner and have everything scheduled out. During the day, think about places/options to eat and look up their nutrition menus online. If the restaurant itself doesn't have it listed, MFP's database from all the wonderful members is pretty well stocked. I can…
  • Sole Furai Burger with a side salad or a side steamed veggie.
  • I think it's about balance. If you go over sodium or carbs on a day, or two, the next day you may go over on fats, or protein, or sugars. They balance out over the course of the week. Even if you have a hot dog, it's ok, just supplement with a light salad so that you're full, in case it didn't quite cut it. Corn is fine,…
  • I second whether your physical included blood work. Iron deficiency would lead to getting light headed too. None of your breakfast items listed would be high sources of iron and women in general are often iron deficient. Get iron levels checked and/or take an iron supplement or daily multivitamin with iron in it.
