I agree supportive friends on here & in rl really help: ) Walking is an amazing way to lose weight, if you keep it up and eat at a deficit, you will definitely succeed. Best of luck!!

My daughter used to be overweight in high school and she lost 30 lbs. She is 5'5" as well and now weighs about 118 also. I think both of you look amazing. People that are critical may sincerely think they are being kind and supportive, but they need to think of your best health interest and being overweight isn't that. Way…

I am all in, I need to quit eating so much junk and get back to healthier eating habits!!

Actually after looking back over my diary over the last month, I guess I am a little lower on fiber on some days than I initially thought. I am going to try to intake more fiber over the next few days and see if that helps. If it doesn't, I don't know what to try. Thanks again everyone with your help!

As far as protein ,yesterday for example I took in 166 grams of protein. But I only took in 14 grams of fiber and I normally eat a Fiber One bar when I do that, but I didn't have enough calories left to do that. I'm not really losing much weight, but I have lost some size. I would rather lose size than weight any day, and…

Yeah, I actually asked my doctor and he said what I was getting was plenty, but he never answered why I'm hungry so much now lol.

And I have worked out for years, but have never done really heavy strength training before, so this is new for me in that aspect.

My dog runs part of the time, and walks part of the time. I usually only do part of my workout with her, then take her back home She may do 2 miles with me at most, but she just loves getting to go outside!

I experienced this when I first began heavier weight training, it took a while for the weight to come back off, but it did eventually. You definitely need to be eating more though. And make sure you are drinking a lot of water! Hoping for the best for you, good luck! And I want to add congratulations on your weight loss so…

I know exactly how you are feeling, I gained for a while while busting my rear working out and eating right. Then came the measurements, I had lost inches everywhere, my clothes are looser. IMO, the scales should just be a guideline, but measuring yourself should be the big way to keep up with your progress. I think you…

Hey, I wish we lived closer together, my walking partner(my daughter) just left for college down at Jacksonville. Unfortunately, I live in the NE AL area. But I hope this thread will find you a walking partner, best wishes and Roll Tide!!

Hi, Gold bond has a chaffing stick that I use. And like some others have mentioned a biker type short is great. Good luck!

Hi,and thank you for pointing that out. I realize that, but it's been almost a week, I can't imagine my muscles are still in need of repair from that workout. I have checked my diet, no excess sodium, measuring my food, staying under calories,& doing cardio. Thanks anyway, maybe it will come off soon!

I try not to get all crazy about weighing, but this weight is still here (3 more days later)and not budging;( And to the other poster, I drink a LOT of water, just plain bottled water so I don't believe that could have anything to do with it. But thank you both for answering me, maybe I can lose it soon. It's just very…

Thank you all for your answers!! I think I might just stick to what I have been doing, based on everyone's answers, which is trying to eat less of everything in general lol. I don't need anything that might remotely cause me to want to binge!! Good luck in each of your weight loss journeys!!
