Weight goal for the taller ladies? 5'9" here

I'm 6'. My current weight is 165. My goal weight is 150 ish. About 2 years ago, I was below 145 and looked sick (partly because I was!). 3 years ago, at my highest, I was at about 218. Presently, I'm working on slimming down and gaining muscle. I'd like to be back to where I was last summer, which was roughly 150lbs/size 6.0

I am 5 foot 9 and am aiming for somewhere between 150 and 160. The lowest I think I have ever been since about 14 is 173...that was about 5 years ago. I am at 204 again now and I think my body likes that weight better, but I don't :-).0

Thank you all for posting here!! I'm 5' 8" and like many, never been so low in my adult life. At my highest (this go around ) I was 255. I had pretty much settled that my 'normal' adult weight was 235.... Well, now I seem to be pretty stable at 168-170!!! On me that's a size 12-14. First time I've been out of woman's sizes in... uh... ??? Certainly this millennium.
So I don't know where I'm going, what's right for me. I'd like to lose another 20 or so, to get rid of the tummy I still have. I do have a lot of loose skin that may or may not shrink (I'm 54) but Wow. This has been an incredible journey that keeps on. I do hope this is the last time in my life I will need to lose weight like this. Thank you all for your support!0 -
I am 5 foot 10 and my ultimate goal is 180. Never in my adult life have I ever been that low so I cant picture it. I am excited to get to onderland... when I DO get to 180 I will re evaluate and maybe go to 175 but I really doubt it. I am a large frame.0

I'm 5'9 but I am a true apple shape and carry most of my weight around my stomach and back. I'm shooting for 125-130. At 140, even though I was lifting, I looked preggers :laugh:0

I am 5'9" and I like myself right around 135, so I only have a few more pounds to go....but then I have to maintain.
Bleh.
So far I have really liked watching what I eat and counting calories and at first it was hard to give up all the snacks and crap I used to eat, but I have gotten out of that habit over the last 9 weeks and don't want to fall back into it when I reach my goal weight. I don't drink coffee, I don't smoke, so I have to have my one Diet Pepsi every morning, and most days that's all I have
I just want to look good nekkid again. :-)0 -

I'm also 69 inches, and my goal is 155. My ULTIMATE wish is to be 145, but 155 would work for me because I'm pretty muscular from competing in martial arts.0

I'm 5'8" and sitting right around 168 now. Originally my goal was 140 but I really think that's going to be too low - I haven't weighed near that since I was 19; I just am not convinced that that is realistic anymore. I'm pretty happy where I am now, down 86 pounds and from a size 22 to a size 12, and it really shows in my lax eating and tracking habits of late. I have considered changing my goal to 160 and then reassessing things when I get there, but I have a track record of getting close to a goal and deciding "eh, it's close enough," then slacking off and regaining, so we'll see...
eta, I think I would look unwell if I got below 140, my build is not well-suited to that low of a weight. I've been there before too, it's really rough for me to maintain there.0 -
I am also 5' 9" and I feel healthiest at around 145. I have a ways to go to get back there though!0

5'9" here as well. Started at 190 with my highest around 220. Currently I am 160, which is lowest previous weight I ever remember being. Still I would like to see what 145 looks like on me.0

I'm 5'8. I think I would look at my best at about 135 lbs. Currently 140 and can still see pockets I'd like rid of but pretty happy and 'slim' looking at that weight.0

I'm 5'8". Goal weight is 160, currently 216, starting 268. I look great at 180, but was still a bit jiggly. I'm working on toning at the same time. I'm also very curvy, hourglass, which I like, so I don't want to go much under 160.0

5'8, maintaining/losing very slowly at around 130-131 lbs atm.
Not sure whether to go lower or a bit higher (people keep telling me I've got too skinny) but I'm just gonna see where the next few months take me without drastic changes.0 -

I'm 5'11" and 3/4 and currently weigh 175 lbs. I have been this height and around 175-180 lbs since I was 15 (8 years ago) so I've definitely hit my comfort weight and it's hard to lose more. My goal in 150 lbs but at 160 I plan to decide if I still want to lose more.0

I'm 5'10" and 47 years old. Age definitely figures into our wide range of goals (as does bone structure, etc). It's been a long time since I've been near goal, but I am currenlty shooting for 150. I may adjust as I get closer!0

I'm 5'8'' and my highest weight was 158. I'm currently at 156 ... I keep gaining and losing the same few pounds. UGH. My first goal weight is 130. I'm pretty small boned so it looks fine on me. Depending on how I feel, I might aim for 125. I just really want to look toned more than anything. But fat first, abs later!0

I am about 5'8.5" and 42 years old. I was at 135 all through my 20's, so that's my ugw.
I am currently down to 148 (from 172), and still have a small "muffin top" and thick hips - I am hoping that the next 13 pounds will remove them, but I need to work on my body recomposition to smooth and firm things up!0 -

5'11", currently at 179, goal is 150-155
From my teens to mid 20s, I was in the 125-130 range and looked fine because of my body structure and it being my "natural" weight at the time, meaning that I didn't deliberately manipulate it to that point. I ate like a fiend and rarely exercised, so my NEAT and TDEE must have been incredible. However, I don't want to go that low. At 150, I'm a size 6, which is fine by me.0 -
