I recently read 2nd edition, didnt find it to be too technical, but I've also been in this battle long enough that all these terms are second hand for me. My wife is reading it also to help me. I went to Golden Corral recently. Even the veggies were coated with butters and oils. I had to stick to raw salad makings.

I dont log everything I eat during a binge, but I have done the quick add calories options, and I created a food called binge and put that in my diary. I put a red dot on calendar which tells me my binge days too.

I appreciate you taking the time to write this out. I "graduated" from therapy long before I probably should have, but thats our health care system - my health care provider believes I can manage on my own. I especially found your 2nd session notes helpful for my situation.

I do something similar - I have a calendar on the fridge. Green is for good days, Red is for Binge days. Yellow is for days I overeat - but dont by medical definition binge. It's a great idea for a visual.

I woke up at 2 am and I was standing in kitchen and I was eating dry pancake mix out of the box. I have no idea how much I ate, and I only ran 3 mikes yesterday. I was not carb deprived. This is humiliating. Just called dr again asking for another appt, I am getting desperate.

I lost count. I fell apart for a couple days as my body recovered from the Myrtle Beach Marathon. Ate liked crazy last week. But I got back on the horse this weekend, and I have had 2 great days in a row. 14 miles running Sunday, 10 miles running yesterday. I'll pick back up in March the daily accountability. But I have…

Ive fought that battle, going as far as locking up foods overnight and giving key to my wife. I understand what you are going through.
