  • Reverse planks and then later on, reverse planks with leg raises. Hurts my knees.
  • Glad to inspire! Its a great program!
  • Doing the kickstart week, like others have said, is adding cardio 1 everyday on top of the regular week. Kickstart week is also week 1. It doesn't add a week to your program. If you notice in the guide where it tells you what workouts to do what weeks, workouts 11 and 12 and cardio 3 are done for 3 weeks making it a 90 day…
  • So true! My hubby and I were doing the C25K before I started JMBR. It was a struggle. He continues to run/jog, and I stopped and did JMBR. When I was done with the program, I thought I would see if I could run. I BLEW past my hubby and had much more endurance than him and now he is doing the program with me so this summer…
  • Cardio sucks! It just does. And you have to do those discs more than all the others. But, the way she has her cardio structured, seems like there is a purpose in it to me. I have to remind myself, it's only 1/2 hour. Like someone olse said, the even numbered discs are harder for me. Anythin involving pushups, planks and…
  • I followd her kickstart week and meal plan to a "t". There was one day I was off (grad party). therwise I followed it and did not eat back my exercise calories. I'm now on my 3rd time through with a little break in between each round. I'm following it, but adding an extra snack. I have made almost all of the recipes. I…
  • I do not know why people do not do the cardio. Maybe it is bad knees, feet etc... I do the JMBR cardio because it had so many strength moves in it. I have only done the JMBR program and nothing else. I do not find them boring. You do those videos more times than the other ones so maybe that gets boring??? Cardio 1 is 8…
  • My 3rd time through. We are on workout 5. I don't like it but I really done like workout 7! Don't you spend the first circut in pushup or plank??? I hates it but I needs it lol.
  • The first time that I did the program, I couldn't get back up without using my hands! The last 2 times I have been able to. I think I'm a bit stronger, and learned that when you roll back up, roll as fast as you can and reach forward with your arms at the same time. Good luck! Those are hard.
  • Wow! You really smoothed out all over! Congrats on your success!
  • . Cant get it to post.....
  • How is phase 2 going for you ashley_isjoy?????
  • I felt stronger withing the first couple of weeks. At the end of phase one, I tried on shorts that i couldn't get on before I started, and they were too big for me! ONE MONTH!!!
  • Those are some great results so far, ashley_isjoy!
  • I have been enjoying the Chicken salad with grapes for lunch for a few days now! I eat it with one slice of whole wheat bread,l and my hubby eats it with 2! It's very hearty and makes a few days worth so I get a break from cooking. Also lakt night I made the grilled lemon chicken and no cream creamed spinach! YUM! And…
  • We ate bad over the holiday too. I'm up 2 pounds, I'm hoping with tomorrow as my official weigh day, I will be down a little... My hubby is down .5 pounds so far. Not too shabby for a holiday week! We have one more week of phase 1 and will be onto phase 2!!!! You are doing great!
  • My first time through, I lost 30 pounds. The 2nd time through, I maintained (still exercised, but ate more food). This time I'm hoping to get off the last 10 pounds! I'm addicted! edited to add that I followed the food and program to a "t" 1st time through, I am this time too, but going to be relaxed on Christmas day.
  • The beef and broccoi stir fry is what is on the menu tonight! I have fallen in LOVE with Virgin organic coconut oil! I tried the Mediterranian tuna roll ups for the first time today. It was VERY tasty, but didn't hold me as long as some other lunches.
  • My hubby and I started on the 10th too with phase 1. My 3rd time through the program, his first! I LOVE this program!
  • Yes, herbs would be OK.
  • Tonight we had the Almond Crusted Chicken Breasts and instead of the cabbage slaw, we had roasted garlic beets! Both were AMAZING! Lunch was veggie soup with poached chix (shredded and mixed in) Breakfast was the denver omlette. All were great!
  • Tonight we had the Southwest Turkey Burgers with Brussel sprouts and carrots! YUM!
  • They want you to do the cardio every day for the first week only. I never did. I really only had 30 minutes. But a lot of people do. Normally the cardio is only done 2 times a week and not in addition to the other DVDs. Boiled chicken aka poached chicken is in a lot of the recipes, usually as a part of the recipe if you…
  • Your results are great! gatx! I especially love the improvement from the backside! What a difference!
  • I love this thread because I followed the diet the whole time so I have had a lot of experience with the food. Right now, I'm eating the vegetable soup from the kickstart week. I don't like plain chicken breast, so I shred it and put it in the soup. Very hearty!
  • I started at 167.5 and lost 30 on the program. I would like to lose another 10 pounds. I never felt frusterated. it was 1-2 pounds a week for me! I'm 5' 8" I followed the diet to a "t". But I know a lot of people have had success just following their own sort of plan that works for them. This one worked for me! It taught…
  • Ths good! I have always found their customer service to be very helpful! They sent me the black band no charge when they had originally given me a cheap green one.
  • You look GREAT! Way to go on all that hard work! Even your snowmen are impressed!
  • I'm sure you know the answer by now, since you already worked out, but yes! This is why I LOVE this program. Day 1, front of body muscles, Day 2, back of body, Day 3 Cardio..and repeat!
  • You can do it too! Those 90 days really went fast and I saw results so quickly.
