Oh that is frustrating. I know for me, the scale didn’t move until I both cut back on calories and did some intermittent fasting. And today is our treat dinner but I’ve started skipping lunch on these days. I have started skipping breakfast too. But I don’t do the whole nothing but water for 16 hours thing. like I’ll have…

Thank you so much! And yep, the half is almost here. CICO is calories in and calories out, I see it referred to a lot on Reddit. And that’s great about your exercise and healthy eating routine! I love dancing to work out. The just dance game is awesome, now I guess there’s so many more workout games too.

Thank you so much! And I hope you can just take a breather. Some “you” time. Where you can maybe reimagine your goals.

Aww Violet at the beach is so cute! And that soup looks great!

Praying for your mom! 🙏

Hi everyone just a quick flyby for now, but today I got down into the 180s for 1st time in 2 years. Happy about that 😁
-
@trooworld thank you. Good job on having just one beer! And hope you had a nice walk with the dogs.

Thank you so much!

Hi everyone I’m stopping back by. Well the 2 job thing didn’t last long lol. And a good thing too, the schedule was terrible. But good thing is I’m now eligible for overtime with the 1st job which is the one I liked much more anyway. So I’ll make more $ with just one job and still have my weekends! And the big weekend is…

Hi peeps, this is just a fly by for now. I actually started two jobs last week so now my schedule is insane during the week. One of the good parts is, besides, the money, is being so busy that I have much less time to eat or sit around thinking about eating. I will try to catch up more this weekend.

@theslightedgeforever yeah thanks glad to be out of the hole. I was trying to tell myself not to worry about weight loss for a while but I guess I wasn't happy that way either - I just wanted to keep moving forward. Air fryers are sounding pretty good then! I will probably be getting one soon. @trooworld yeah IF can be…

Thanks @cbabie it’s good to be back. I have actually never gotten an air fryer yet. How does air frying compare with regular frying tastewise? And I hope you get your energy back soon. I have definitely been there too what with the half marathon training.

Hi good morning everyone. It’s been a while. I had fallen off the wagon and gotten in a bad rut - mostly because I thought I should’ve been a lot further down on the scale. I spent a while being depressed about it then decided I needed to do something new. So that’s when I bought The Obesity Code book by Jason Fung. I…

Hi guys, trying to get back on the wagon here. I had a really bad day with the scale a while back and I let it get into my head. I’m disappointed that the scale can still get to me like that. DS is feeling better. I don’t know if it was Covid but I was not feeling well for a while. But anyway, we’re both getting back on…

Today was the long workout of the week in the half marathon training schedule. I did 7 miles today. Afterwards, I sat with a bunch of very happy Philly people (DH is a Philly native) watching their Eagles win. It was pandemonium in the streets afterwards. Cars honking, people making parade floats out of their cars with…

@trooworld yes it was actually my DS that got sick, not DH. DH and I had Covid at the same time in May and then I got it for a second time in September, he missed it that time. Nice to be able to go out for a burger and fries because you had that many calories to spare! Some days are like that with workouts. You’ll get it…

D Oh I’m sorry I didn’t see your reply before! Yes it’s a pain how Covid keeps mutating. I hope your hubby and DS feel better soon. Yes that’s awful to be sick on your birthday. I actually had Covid on my birthday this past September. good job on keeping the surplus to only 200 cal at the party. At parties I can tend to go…
-
@cbabie wow that is too bad you haven’t been feeling well, I hope you feel better soon. That is good though you got your blood test results, at least you know what is good and what needs improving. Thanks for the well wishes about DS and I. I am so glad his symptoms have been mild. Yeah it’s weird how some people have no…
-
@trooworld Oh my bad, sorry for misunderstanding. That’s great that your hubby can just have a handful of chips and be done. Mine can’t lol. I do have a weakness for salty snacks so I try not to even get started. That’s fantastic that you’re at your lowest weight since 2021. It looks like you’ve really been killing it!…

@trooworld thank you so much. He’s doing OK so far, seems better than when I had it. He says he found it helps to do a combination of cough drops and water. My chest was feeling a little bit funny so I just took a test myself today but it came up negative. Really hoping we can at least walk on Tuesday. And also, big…
-
Thank you, I appreciate that. I’ve had it twice myself. Yeah I’m wondering if I could have it now, the last time I had it was September. Just mainly worried about him right now. Are you feeling better by now?
-
Hi everybody, kind of upset right now. DS just tested positive for Covid via home test today. Logically I know he’ll be fine but I’m just freaking out. He was so determined not to catch Covid. I don’t even feel like doing the usual workout tonight. He’s had all the vaccines and even got checked out in the urgent care today…

@trooworld Sounds great to have weight lifting equipment that records all your activity and tracks all your progress. And that's great you joined a hiking group. I had never really done the hiking thing before this group but yes, I have found them to be very motivating. Let us know how your first hike goes after you do…
-
@theslightedgeforever That's cool that you have two book clubs. Do you have a preference between the online or in-person one? On the long Philly hike from last weekend, we stopped by the "paupers' field" where our leader (a former HS history teacher) said there were 20-40K buried there, including Revolutionary War…

I fell behind a bit but trying to catch up here. On Sunday I went on a big group hike around Philadelphia which included walking over and back the Ben Franklin bridge. Something I have never done before and it was quite an experience. The half training with DS has been going well. He is even pulling way ahead on the jog…

@cbabie Yes there's so many interesting historical stories in Philly. My MIL likes to go to estate sales around the city and finds a lot of good antiques there. DH used to go with her before we got married and got a lot of good stuff himself. @trooworld Good job on making progress on life goals! Hope your hubby feels…

@trooworld Good job on pushing through on the Tonal workout. Sometimes I have gone through a week of soreness or longer with this marathon training. But it seems the soreness is fading. Wow that salad looks delicious! @cbabie right - don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Reminds me of a good saying from reddit I saw…
-
@trooworld I have this machine: https://imgur.com/gallery/tUkzKdZ I got it 5 years ago. Much of the time it has sat unused but I get good results when I do use it. Good that you went back and tracked. Happy crafting! @cbabie Congrats on the good dental report. It is definitely about mindset, also habits too. For me the…
-
@trooworld Glad your knee has been feeling better and that your water/tracking/food has been going well. Hope Daisy feels better soon. Could your husband actually taste the difference or was it only because you told him? Woohoo on the weight loss! @cbabie That's good that even if you went over in calories, it was only 475…

@trooworld Wow that is such a productive day. I wish I could get that much out of the house to the Goodwill. That's good you skipped fries and had only half the gyro, that with the salad actually sounds like a reasonable meal. @cbabie Good luck on the decluttering, I need to do the same. It would be fantastic if I could…
