I am losing weight to feel good in my own skin and to be a healthy now and in the future, but I would be lying if I didn't say I wanted to look hot for my hubby, although he thinks I'm beautiful no matter what.

^^^ This When I lost weight about 4 years ago I deprived myself of everything that I loved...no sweets, no carbs, no fun...4 years later I gained it all back and then some... moderation, moderation, moderation...it really is the key if you want to make this a lifestyle change instead of a diet.

I'm definitely up for some more relaxed/motivated friends...I have GroupMe and it works well

@tennisdude2004 I would only be doing it until May to support my husband while he does it. Generally between 100-150 g I feel satisfied with the carbs I got and don't feel the need to binge, which has been an issue when I was younger (carbs are my gateway food). I am not necessarily a fan of saying goodbye to carbs, but I…

I do both! I have a piece of paper with post-it's on it with my little goals...so when I reach 170, 160, 150, 140, 130, and then my goal I take off the post it, and there is a little treat under it, like a new dress, mani-pedi, etc...and I have a sheet where I cross off every lb I lose, so I can visually see where I…

I skimmed some responses and saw a few on GMO and the issue with that, that sent my buzzer off lol, didn't mean to go into a tangent, but after 4 years of studying agriculture and a lifetime of farming I had to throw something out there since I do know that there are a lot of people who do obsess over finding non-GMO and…
-
Coming from a farm family and being a farmer myself I really can't handle hearing any more uneducated anti-GMO statements and talking about how this "new process" is so harmful blah blah blah when GMOs have been around for more than 30 years and have been linked to less illness than organic (which can carry parasites and…

The "get a puppy diet"...it's very popular in my house...we never get to finish our food because he either takes it out of our hands or his cute little face is too sweet to resist and he gets handed the food lol

I've moved to a new state (I've been here about 3 months) and have been struggling to find a job (even with a degree from a top tier university) and have made very few friends (never having been in a military area, it has been hard breaking into a group with the other wives)…I have let being home alone 5 days out of the…
