Jiggly Thighs?

I've noticed that my thighs jiggle when I walk a lot more now that I've lost weight. Has this happened to anyone else???

Yes which is why I'm going to start lifting weights and take pilates classes. Hopefully it will help firm things up.

Funny, I was going to post a thread asking if anyone else gets squishier as they lose?
I figure when I was fatter my fat bits were, well, plump - well filled-out and tight. Now they are visibly squishier but also measurably smaller so I guess the fat comes off from random places which are now less filled out? I am working on maintaining muscles too and can feel them under the fat, but I guess until I lose significantly more I'll just have to live with this jiggly squishy lumpy layer on top of them.0 -

Second, if you are losing weight and not taking steps to fill out the loose skin (e.g. weight training) you'll have that skinny fat look. Weight training is your friend.0 -
That's why strength training should be your best friend....two years ago I got down to 150 due to poor diet...And I didn't work out at all. although I was slim at that weight...my thighs were flabby and not toned aka jiggled. I gained 30 lbs and today I have gotten back down to 161-163 by doing a mix of cardio and strength training....I especially love weighted squats...even though I'm heavier now, my thighs and butt have never been more tight and toned...so start squatting girl! And when you are ready add some weights...you will see that jiggle turn to rock lol0

Mine are not jiggling as much as they used to. I'm guessing you've lost a fair bit of lean body mass.0

Yes, I will be working on weight training soon! I want to lose a bit more, then I'll attempt Insanity again. I don't live near a gym, so I was also thinking of asking the family for a couple weights for my birthday. I have issues with my right knee, and squats often hurt, even though I know my form is good0 -
My thighs definitely started jiggling more when I lost weight a few years ago...If it makes anyone feel any better, I had a soccer coach who used to yell, "Common ladies, use those thunder thighs" ahahahaha...made ya really feel good
