have you ever tried slimming world? you can eat as much as you like of certain foods and just count the treats, fat and sugars, I have lost a stone in 3 months, slow but steady

well for me I am going to the gym and doing mostly cardio at the moment and have been losing 1lb per week on average for 2 months...i use the treadmill...walking fast for like say 3 min and then jog for 1.5-2 mins this keeps your heart rate raised a little continuously and the jogging pushes it up a little higher in short…

i have osteoarthritis...not sure how similar...but i get loads af pains in joints and walking/running is hard work...swimming is probably the best i could recommend as it just uses muscles (& lungs lol) takes the weight off them nicely...hope this helps x

load of **** if ure doing regular exercise where your heart rate is higher than normal and watching what you are eating you WILL lose weight, fewer calories in + more activity therefore more calories out = fat burning full stop!! simple mathematics x

i hear ya there!! that's the one and only reason/excuse i have for being the way i am!!! it happens sometimes but i think the key is to not let it carry on and spiral back to a habit! x

just a suggestion, maybe if you could PLAN a treat? i know only too well that this is easier to say than to do, but if you have something to look forward to say at the end of the week (only if you've stuck to eating well and exercise for the 1st 6 days) then i think then you feel less deprived, and it is also a little…

yeah the higher your heart rate the more calories you burn, and you need to have a raised heart rate for minimum of 20 minutes to burn any fat, hope this helps x

i am afraid to say i do this every few days.....but i think that you should just keep on logging even if you haven't had a good day....and i think eventually the habit will stick along with the actual eating x
