  • Here is what all of you wanted so so so badly. Here is a page of my log book. http://imgur.com/BG2Vsm4 Tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it. I honestly think it's really funny that a lot of you think I have severe emotional issues. And also its pretty hilarious you think I don't want any help. I came here for help,…
  • Okay, I'm trying to tell you guys, that I'm not over eating. That's it. But you're all pretty much insisting that I am despite me repeatedly telling you that I am 100% certain I am not. What do you want me to do? Please just tell me straight up exactly what you think I should do and I'll try it. I will. But I'm not over…
  • What do you want me to do? Log on here? Okay, fine, I will log on here rather than on paper if it really means that much to all of you. Then what? I'm not going over my calories... so... after I spend 2 weeks logging everything and you guys see that I don't over eat what will your advice be because that's what is going to…
  • Wow, okay, I DO LOG MY FOOD. Just not on this site. I WRITE it down on PAPER. I could open my diary to you guys but it would be totally empty because I don't log it on here. I look at the serving size on what I eat and make sure I do correct portions then write down how many calories that meal was after doing the math and…
  • And no, not all of you were rude. Some of you were very nice and helpful and I appreciate that. I came here for help and so those of you that did, thank you.
  • So, alliesgettinghealthy, where did you get your medical degree from? Your entire post was pretty much you ranting about how you don't like that I said gluten allergy. And honestly that doesn't help my weight loss journey at all. Gluten is WHEAT, Barley and Rye. So gluten pretty much is wheat. And the definition of allergy…
  • Geez nobody here is ever nice. I don't ask questions often because I always get lectured. I said slightly allergic because I don't have severe pain, vomiting or rashes and etc when I eat bread. I had an allergy test done by my allergist who did go to 8 years of college and has a license and yes it was also assessed by a…
  • I have no idea what NEAT or TDE is lol. But I'll answer the questions I do know! Female 5'5 172 lbs (started at 204 lbs) 1,200 - 1,400 cals Workout 4-5 times weekly. (1-2 hr cardio) I don't eat my calories back, I may had eaten a little extra that day but I exercise at night and don't eat anything after so if I'd eaten a…
  • It's not all for the cruise of course lol. I just didn't know how good or bad of a goal that was, if it wasn't a good one that's fine and I'd shoot for longer, I'm in this for the long-run, but it was just purely out of curiosity.
  • I weigh 176 lbs right now. I started out at 204 lbs. My doctor told me to be a healthy weight I need to be anywhere from 130lbs-145lbs and NO MORE than 150lbs. My goal is around 130-140 lbs. So I'm literally following my doctors orders. So 30-40lbs to lose. I'm not really stuck at an exact number because I don't know what…
  • It's both for me. I weigh myself once a week, every Thursday morning. I get excited (and nervous) to see how much I have lost, but if I haven't lost anything or have only lost a little I dread it.
  • According to some of you, I should be dead :O I was just making sure that I wasn't going to die or gain weight by not eating breakfast, or at least not eating it for a few hours after getting up. Like, I ate eggs this morning, so, yay...? haha Thanks for all your answers :)
  • 6 weeks ago when one day I say the scale and thought.. "hmm, I wonder what I weigh" because the last time I had weighed just a few months before I was around 180, I got on the scale and it said "205"... I stepped off and I started crying, I had a major epiphany, it was terrible.
  • I feel ya. I'm in Tennessee (US) but it is still very hot and humid. Since I am not a morning person and can't make myself get up at 5am to exercise, I leave to go to the school track after 8pm (the track is like 5 mins from my house) and they have lights around the track so I walk for about 3-4 miles and then go home.
  • I actually like healthy foods, it's my family. I have 3 other siblings in our house and my parents tend to take the easy way out by getting fast food all the time and buying chips and sugary cereal and stuff at the grocery store. When we buy food I always get healthy stuff but it's hard to resist all the crap laying around…
  • Thank you. I try to jog a little but I have asthma so I have to do it in intervals and be really careful, but I am trying to work my way up to jogging without stopping and eventually running.
  • Here is what I do and it works good for me, since I was a fast food addict I couldn't just drop it all like nothing. I was completely addicted to sweat tea, I actually got the shakes when I went without drinking a 26 ounce of sweat tea for mcdonalds or pals for 1 week. I used to drink one or two of those every single day.…
  • I am losing weight to be attractive, to be happy. Recent blood work shows that I have absolutely nothing wrong with me, no problems, and that I am perfectly healthy. Except for the fact that I am 70lbs overweight (weird, right?) So, this is just for me. I want to feel beautiful, and I never will unless I am fit.
  • Yes, I am looking to lose about 74lbs actually. I have trouble with motivation usually, but I am motivated :)
  • I know exactly how you feel. I am very out of shape and I have exercise induced asthma. I have to go very slow when it comes to exercising, I haven't ran for more than 30 seconds since I was 10 years old. I have to work my way up to brisk walking/jogging and maybe eventually being able to run. If I try to run I have to…
  • Started my diet almost 5 weeks ago- but started MFP yesterday. Thursday will be my first weigh-in, I am hoping to lose about 74lbs by March 2015. We can do this!!! :D
  • Watching Good Mythical Morning on youtube.... they're so funny :P
  • Same here, I've been overweight for years and sure I have been on diets off and on, probably going on week long diets 10 times per year, so far I've been on my lifestyle change for almost 5 weeks, this is the longest committed weight loss I've been on, ever. It is just a matter of eating right and exercising, but it is…
  • My goal is to lose 8lbs per month (2lbs per week) I plan on eating right and working my way up to exercising around 4-5 times a week. I have exercise induced asthma so I have to go slow.
  • I know exactly how you feel! My weigh fluctuates a lot in general, and then at that time of the month, it goes off the scales. When I'm normally at 204lbs, on my period I can go up to 212lbs! It's crazy, and I have endometriosis so my periods are long, painful, and just plain awful. So the fluctuating weight doesn't help.
  • My goal is to lose 74lbs by April 2015. What I want? To be happy with myself. To love myself for the first time in a long time, and to be healthy. I believe nothing is impossible, and you can do anything if you set your mind to it.
