I weigh all my food on a scale and such. But 1200 cals apparently isnt cutting it anymore. So i guess ill try 1700...that just seems like ALOT of food to eat!
-
no typo aha im tall :)...and when i change my goal to 1 pound weight loss a week it says i can eat 1710 cals...but that seems like wayyyy to much :s

I didnt post this thread to be told that my friends are ignorant. I posted it to try and explain to my friends that the 'medias perfect weight' isnt applicable to everyone. My friends are all highly educated as am i and i dont appreciate rude comments. All i was asking was how do I explain to them that being a certain…

And your comment sounds very ignorant? Its not so much that there ignorant nor are rude. But more so that thats what theyve been taught is the perfect weight. 2 of my friends are food and nutrition majors and the other is a kinesiology major. So no there not ignorant, there well educated and just alittle confused.

Thats wicked!! where can i get it?! and ive gone from a size 14 to a size 10 but i dont regularly take mesurements
-
My problem further becomes that (and if you look at my diary on any usual day) that i only eat between 200-400 calories a meal. Thus telling me to eat even less seems like an even bigger thing to do!
-
Im not sure but its increasingly frustrating. I was very steady in my weighloss up until this point.
-
Im pretty sure my problem is a plateau...because up until recently ive been losing weight on a steady basis ( from 170-166 in 2 weeks)
-
For starters, im not 'stalling out' ive managed to lose close to 50 pounds in less than a year. Id call that significant progress. It hasnt been until very RECENTLY that ive had a harder time losing weight. Second of all i weigh and measure EVERYTHING
-
My Bmi at 6'0 and 166 pounds is 22 at 144 (my goal weight) my BMI would be somewhere between 18-19
-
I got the deficit number from adding up the calories i had 'remaining' everyday for 7 days on my fitness pal. Its a guess. Like i am eating and weighing everything. For example : A typical lunch for me : 1 1/2 cups raw veggies, 2 Iogo lactose free yogurts, 2 slices fat free turkey breast and usually some sort of fruit.

Thank you so much!! I think im probably a)way to picky b) eating way under what i should be for my activity level

-
im 6'0 and 166 pounds
-
i concluded my deficit by adding up the amount of calories I had remaining from my food diary (that could be totally wrong) and 1200 is what the app told me to eat.
-
