I'm in! 6th grade teacher here. In the past ten years of my career I've lost and then gained 80 pounds (did it the wrong way) This time, I'm 22 pounds in and doing it the right way. I've found my fitbit to be a major motivator to me. I'm up at 5:30am. Get 250 steps before I shower and am at 1,500 steps before I leave for…

My extreme logging has what's helped me be successful thus far. I know 20 pounds in 4 months isn't a super fast pace but I've previously lost 80 pounds but I did it all wrong and lost it in 4 months and then gained it all back. I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and maybe kick the workouts up a notch. I go dress…

Goals for the week. 1. Bust through this stupid plateau. 2. Do at least 3 miles every day....walking or biking. 3.
-
No loss this week....but no gain either...maintaining at 308. I partly blame TOM. ugh I hate being female sometimes. Am kicking it up a notch though cause I have goals to meet and an Ashley Graham bikini to wear in Hawaii in February!

I've got over 100 pounds to lose to hit my ultimate goal. But am eyeballing 75 to start with. I've lost close to 100 pounds before and got stupid and gained it all back. I'm working toward losing it for good and keeping it off

I suppose I should clarify a few things. I simply said christmas because that's about a months time and I want to see if it works for me. Am I looking for a quick fix? No! I've been using this app for years now and have been successful and then fallen off the wagon. When I do eat rice or pasta my portions are measured and…

I found the more I pestered my guy the less he was interested in adopting a more healthy lifestyle. I started going to the gym with a friend and started StrongLifts by myself. 3 months, 10 pounds and a lot of inches gone from me later he FINALLY decided to join me. I usually cook so it wasn't the healthy food that needed…

Can I be in on this too?? Except for one outing that's been planned for months? I've done this challenge before and loved the results.

Holy smokes. I hope I didnt eat that many calories. I don't normally eat greasy food either but it seems to settle a hungover upset tummy.

I live in a little tiny town but have access to the school weight room where I teach. They don't have anything fancy but I utilize the squat rack for some moves and they have some benches. I'll admit it was a bit daunting walking in there with the big football players at first but now it's almost like they "admire" the…

CW:290 April 25th goal: 285 or less GW: 199 or lower. I do StrongLifts 3 days a week with 20-30 mins cardio afterwards. On the opposite of my lifting days I do at least 2 miles walking/jogging. I'm focused on my 2 mile time as I have a race coming up in May. Once I get that race over I will add distance to focus on my 5K…

I want in too but can I keep my usual weigh in day of Friday?

For the past 2 years I've drank 6 32oz Nalgene bottles full every day while I'm at work. and I drink that much or more water on the weekends...I haven't croaked yet.

I'm so glad I'm getting some positive reassurance. I was starting to think I needed to get thinner before I could get stronger.
