I don't like going ether, but I get inspired when I go. I look at all the people who are heaver then me and think, if they can do it then so can I. You too might inspire someone and not even know it. Just go and do it for you.

Sounds like you are doing great in TKD, I could never kick that high, good thing people from Okinawa are short, we just aim for the gut and even that target gets lower as I get older :-) Keep at it!

I would love to try Kendo, we work with a lot of weapons at our dojo. I work for a small Japanese company and all the guys took it in school.

If you have a smartphone phone, you can use the app "runtastic" ( but there are a lot of others too)it gives you speed, distance,calories and other cool stuff. I like the NHS couch to 5k podcast from iTunes. I am on week 9 and can not believe how long I can run, I am still slow but I am thinking of doing sprints to help…

HI, I have the same problem and asked the same question. I don't think it is a big deal, as long as you stay within your calorie count.
