Hi all,
I keep going over my protein budget. How bad is this? and any help on what I can do? I exercise a lot and I am on my feet at work all the time. I feel like it is not a big deal, but I could be wrong. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Amy

depends on what your protein budget is! if it is what mfp sets you, then that should be absolutely fine as it is really quite low. it's better to be over on proetin than carbs, in my opinion.

That was what I was thinking, the MFP seemed low.
    Thinks.

Its not going to hurt you as long as your total calorie intake stays under. Its more important to stay above your protein intake than it is to be under. The more protein you have, the more lean calories you have to feed your muscles. Calories from protein is a good thing. This will help you maintain muscle during your diet and excercise. Which will direct your weight/mass loss to fat instead of weight loss from muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body will be able to burn all day long.
