Thanks for your response! At the moment I do one rest day and one day of only "chilled out" cardio and that seems to work for me but I might reassess once the strength training is incorporated :)

This was happening to me until a few days ago, I have a smoothie now when I wake up to get me through the morning workout etc and then have my actual breakfast after and at a more sensible time for me to actually want to eat it :)

Smoothies are a great way to get anywhere up to 6 portions (or more!) fruits/veg in one go :) Otherwise try mix them in with your protein/carbs when you're cooking (like a stir fry).
