  • Ah totally forgot about this! But I am still looking for more Dutchies! :)
  • Oh yes, Norway is very expensive when it comes to daily living expenses. Nice that you found a routine that works for you now though! I'm Dutch and probably going to Wisconsin!
  • I'm going to study abroad next fall semester (so in like 9 months), and that indeed sort of scares me. Where are you studying now? :)
  • Nope, just add the butter and the kale :) I don't think it changes.
  • On MFP you can find it in every way you like, I think. If you want to weigh chicken after grilling it, look for 'grilled chicken'. Same goes for veggies (e.g. 'raw' 'steamed' or 'boiled'). Personally I always weigh everything raw, and then I just make sure I use an MFP version that is also raw. :) Hope that helps.
  • Awesome! Good luck everyone! :) I'm sure we can do it!
  • I'M SO JEALOUS! I have about 3 exams/papers/presentations/important things per week from this week on. I can't wait till Christmas break, and I'm also gonna work super hard! We can do this! :D
  • Whoa, that sounds like a lot! It's impressive that you can manage all of that! I tried meal planning, but it doesn't work for me. I love cooking every day and I usually eat something I'm actually craving. Healthy things of course! But if I'm craving chicken and I planned pasta, then I'm just going to eat the chicken. ;)
  • Haha, yes. Exercise breaks work well, but somehow being a student made eating healthy much harder - plus alcohol can be... king of problematic ;). Both eating healthy and exercise are so good for study results as well though! I've gotten way more energy to study since I've started exercising and eating well. But time…
  • 19 (soon to be 20) Female 5"11 222 lbs I think it'll be pretty hard to find another female with my height, but even if you're just a bit similar (in weight or age) I'd love to be your friend here! :)
  • Goat's cheese salad with balsamic dressing, strawberry, nuts, and cranberries :)
  • Hi! I'm so sorry to hear about all of that. Luckily it won't be hard to find anyone like you in this! I just made a post about binge eating last week, and a lot of (ex)'bingers' responded to it, so you might want to check it out! :) It's here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1362139-are-you-a-binger
  • I'll be a junior this fall! A really busy one, so this'll be the ultimate challenge with eating right and exercising. Feel free to add me!
  • Welcoooome! :) Good luck on your journey, I'm sure you can do it!
  • Hi! When I was vegan, I made my pizzas with bread dough! I have a recipe for it here: Article on the pizza: http://veggies-and-vanilla.blogspot.nl/2014/04/recipe-35-pizza-flavored-toast.html Recipe for the bread dough: http://veggies-and-vanilla.blogspot.nl/2014/02/recipe-24-pain-de-campagne-with.html I called it…
  • Congratulations! :) I hope to get there some day :)
  • It's such a taboo and that's such a shame! I now see that so many other people have the same problem, which makes me think there might even be people in my direct environment who do! Binging is just uncontrollable for most people, and I think it's a psychological thing (not to make it sound scary). And it needs to be…
  • Exactly what I'm doing! Getting new habits, and getting rid of the old! :D Thanks, I'll look into it! :)
  • I totally agree! I never realized I was a binger until just a few weeks back. I think it's predominantly habit for me, so I'll try to get rid of that as well as I can :)
  • Thanks, Oneblackwing :) My school doesn't have a meal plan, I have my own kitchen. This means I can cook and bake whatever I want whenever I want it - and I do my own grocery shopping. Kinda dangerous ;)
  • I had no idea so many people would be able to relate. No one ever talks about it in real life.
  • itsfatum: it's a good idea not to consider myself a binger, I agree. It's not like I can just remove the situations though, because it's something that didnt just happen when I was stressed, or sad, or emotional. It happened every day, and for no real reason. Just because I felt like eating. No specific reasons, maybe just…
  • Oh my! So many responses so fast! Thanks guys! :D I have also been a binger since I was really young, usually combined with dieting - already when I was 12. I'm a massive yo-yo-er, which got worse when I went to college (I gained about 20 lbs in the first semester). Lily: true! I know it works that way, but mentally I…
  • Omg yessss! I'm a student too (19 years old, undergraduate) and when I'm stressed I fail to keep living healthy! And I'm stressed all the time during the semester. I have about 60 lbs to lose until I'm at a healthy weight, but I want to lose 80, ideally - so it's coming close to a 100! I will add you if that's alright! :)
