  • I'm not sure how often to measure, but you might start with once a week with the idea that you are going to look for results once a month. I think you could see variations weekly due to diet and hormones that might not be accurate. That's my best guess!
  • I also really wanted to be an architect or interior designer. Now I am a marketing researcher/planner.
  • Hey, I know how screamingly frustrating it is to gain on medications. I occasionally need to go on prednisone to manage some health issues. Usually it's a minimum 10 pound gain overnight and it always takes me a long time to lose. Also, it's not a pretty gain, either. Personally, I get upset because I worry that other…

Maybe start with 1900 calories and go down each week by 100 calories if you are not losing a 1/2 pound or more a week naturally. Try to be as active as possible. In my case I lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks (nearly all my pregnancy gain) but after that I…
  • Hi, Also from Chicago here! I joined in 2011 but never really got into it! My kids are 4 & 6, trying to get back to my pre-baby self and then back to my pre-wedding self .... Best, Kristen
  • Hello Evil Banker AKA Sarah -  I like your nickname! I am 44 and I have hypothyroid as well. I had asthma as a kid, but learned to manage it. My allergies are atrocious. RA runs in my family but luckily no signs of joint damage so far! I am a chronic dieter, I literally started dieting when I was 11 years…
