I cut out all soda and also sugar in my coffee. I had to do it in steps and definitely felt the lack of sugar but feel much better now without it. It took a few months to stop soda completely. I had flavored coffee the other day and it was way too sweet, this coming from someone who use to put 3-4 tsp of sugar in her…

oh and also what the poster above said. I started counselling when I started this journey. I was emotional eating to deal with a lot of things in my past and my life and anxiety came back fast. She is helping me through it because I DESPERATELY do not want to go back to old patterns

I had trouble with mobility at first as well. I bought a $20 pedaler, it's just the bike pedals and you can sit on couch chair wherever and use it. When I first started I could only do 4 rotations before I was out of breath,, wheezing. That was August 1st. I can do 10 minutes now and my walking ability has improved so…

Right now I use a pedometer app on my phone but it doesn't seem all that accurate.

pinterest and yummly I have had success on them. I try to keep my sodium about 800 but have been slacking last few days and can feel it . (heart issues) it is the hardest eating out, I finally just started packing meals for all of us so if we are doing errands we can just dig into those instead of grabbing something out.…

I consider clean eating no preservatives. Cereal would not be clean eating while fresh fruit would be so I guess anything with minimal to no preservatives. It seems overwhelming at first but it actually is much easier than I thought and the food from home cooked meals lasts longer. That's just my opinion though , for what…

I'm on potassium supplements from the Doctor. I can't get my potassium to stabilize no matter what I eat, but I'm on prednisone a lot and that can deplete potassium. Been to the ER 3 times this month for hypokylemia (low potassium). VERY FRUSTRATING V8 juice has tons of potassium if you can drink it. I can't but boy I wish…

so much sodium in pizza hut pizza I had to stop eating it way before I decided to start weight loss. We make our own at home and tweak it for low sodium low carb.

I don't know why I was ashamed and didnt really leave the house. I think there was underlying issues, but I am not sure what they are. I'm in counselling because I am determined in this not to fall back into old patterns. i know why I ate so much and just ignored it. Honestly I don't even remember how I got as heavy as I…

I quit in 1998, just broke the rest of my cigarettes in half, threw them in the garbage and never looked back. Chewed tons of gum, yes I gained weight but I probably didn't have to, I was not very disciplined back then but boy am I glad I quit. With asthma and allergies, I am positive I would be in more of a health crisis…

my daughter had mono and it damaged her spleen and gallbladder. She now has cold antibody hemylatic anemia and tummy troubles. keep at it with a doctor, might mean a lot of tests but they should eventually get to the bottom of it

Are they good for upping calories for weight loss? I can't seem to find enough foods to eat that up my calorie intake to a safe level while keeping carbs/sodium down. I want to try adding some more protein but don't really eat meat and am allergic to dairy and gluten (wheat anyway)

I had very little mobility when I started. I stopped a few medicines I was on with the dr ok, bought golds gym bike pedal machine. Idk what it's called but it's 20$ or table and can just sit in chair or couch and pedal. When I started I got winded after pedaling 4 times. Not 4 minutes 4 ROTATIONS!! It's been a little over…
