Hi! i don't mean to put all the blame on my husband, sorry for coming off that way. i just mean that i am having a hard time because i am doing this alone, and don't feel supported in general, so i am reaching out to a community to receive support. :(

i'm a vegetarian, so i do the best i can. that wasn't the point though, i don't only eat burgers!

Thank you all for the kind words! It's nice hearing from other people who "get it"! I will start saying no to more than one beer, having my husband pick up fast food on the way home, and so on. :smile: I really hope I can make this work and stick with it. I just hate failing myself and feeling badly about my body.

I lose on 1500. Maybe more slowly now, but it will still happen. I have a feeling your pound weight gain might just be a sodium/hydration=related gain, because gaining on 1500 is just.....silly. 1lb=3,500ish calories. That would mean that for you eating like two days a week, you're just putting on straight poundage…

Sounds like you have an unhealthy obsession with your control over food. You should probably not be talking to a community of randos and instead a doctor or therapist. :wink: It's awesome that you recognized this unhealthy relationship on your own!

I did the 30 day shred a while back. It was difficult and pretty hard for me to keep myself accountable with only the TV watching me. Sometimes I just ended up letting her do some of the parts while I rested. :stuck_out_tongue:
