  • Love this thread! Always on the lookout for health and fitness blogs. I'm at http://shesmadefromconcentrate.blogspot.co.uk/ Warning: may contain full frontal pictures of cake.
  • Hi MOS3, Don't worry, I felt exactly the same. However, I've been eating my maintenance calories for around 2 months now and I haven't gained any weight. What I can say, I guess you've just got to place your faith in MFP! Congratulations on reaching your goal weight! x
  • Wow what a difference! You're looking gorgeous. :flowerforyou:
  • Drop the EA and do the Shred instead - that sounds fair. There's no doubt that 30 Day Shred will tone me up... I guess I'm just worried that as soon as I finish the programme I will lose that tone and put all the weight back on again. I'd really like to know how easy ex-Shredders have found maintaining their post-shed…
  • It really depends on the person, I think. I've personally managed to hang on to mine (phew!) I've lost 27lbs so far and yet my cup size has been mostly unaffected... I've gone from a 32DD to a 30DD. The only down side is that it's much harder to find bras that fit.
  • Welcome to the club! Soon you'll struggle to imagine life without it. Congrats!
  • That is probably one of the nicest things anyone's said to me - thank you. :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Its nice to feel like I'm making some progress! @arewethereyet - yes the moustache was an unfortunate side effect of Halloween - luckily though it washed off and I am still single chinned! haha  @dewpetals - funny you should say that, I read somewhere that double…
  • That sounds like a great excuse to get a new wardrobe to me! ;) Congrats Ronney! :D
  • I don't really know in terms of burning fat but I always eat something before I exercise first thing in the morning. I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't stand doing any form of exercise running on an empty stomach. Normally a small smoothie or a handful of berries is enough, anything heavier and I would feel…
  • I'm also 5"6 and the last time I was happy with my body I was 133 lbs, but I'll be happy if I get under 140. But it is really up to you. If you feel happy and healthy, then that's all that matters really. :)
  • I live in the UK and remember seeing an advert for "Insanity" on the TV in the early hours of the morning... so they do sell it here. Whether or not I want to attempt it is another matter, though!
  • Woah, definitely not! Everyone has to take time out from their exercise regime from time to time, but you'll be amazed how easy your body maintains fitness. I had to take a month out due to an injury and it had a minimal impact on my fitness. But, even if you do lose anything, you will gain it back very quickly. Just…
  • I do EA sports on the playstation, but I think it is similar on the Wii. If its a workout you are after, EA sports certainly delivers! Compared to the Wii Fit, the pace is much faster and you will probably be pushed further. After plateauing for four weeks on the Wii Fit, I switched to EA Active and got losing again almost…
  • Hi Sandyfeet10, Check out this website, I found it just the other day and it compares calorie to alcohol ratio for hundreds of drinks: http://getdrunknotfat.com/ SB x
