  • Apart from trying to lower your sodium (as others have said), you should up your water intake. Not only good for flushing out any retention caused by the salt, but also lots of water is just generally very good for you :)
  • I've also been losing motivation due to lack of results...! 2 weeks is short, I'd say 4-6 weeks is a good timeframe for noticeable results, if your diet is a proper one of course! Also don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat, so you may be losing fat and gaining muscle, which keeps the number on the scale the same.…

  • Canned tuna, greek yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese, hummus, egg whites, black beans, salmon/chicken, edamame...are all great low-fat high-protein foods. The yogurt and hummus (with celery) are particularly good on-the-go snacks.
  • Definitely still something to be proud of! 1-2lbs per week is a healthy sustainable rate. Keep it up :)
  • So to sum up the feedback I've gotten -- - cut out the yogurt and eggs - don't cut out the yogurt and eggs - it's all about exercise - it's not all about exercise - too much sodium - too many carbs hmm....
