I've got my meals laid out for the day but I'm coming up short 67g of protein and 20g of carbs.

Any simple snack ideas that will bump my protein and carbs a titch, but not add to the fat?

Thanks!

Canned tuna, greek yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese, hummus, egg whites, black beans, salmon/chicken, edamame...are all great low-fat high-protein foods. The yogurt and hummus (with celery) are particularly good on-the-go snacks.

Add a protein shake as dessert to one of your meals.

    A protein shake maybe?

I eat lots of eggs and chicken normally in my meals so I always go over in protein

Certain types of fruits and nuts will help with the protein but may need to watch the carbs. I believe that veggies will help to but don't quote me on that.

thanks guys! salmon's already on the menu for dinner, so that's out, lol!

nuts have fat and i'm already at my fat limit for the day so if i add anymore, i'm going to have to keep it looooooow

almost tempted to go make an eggwhite omelet, but HEY.....

that tuna idea sounds awesome. tuna on a bed of spinach or something. perfecto!

    thanks again! :D:flowerforyou:
