  • Thanks for the advise. I noticed I was starting to breakout when I started at the gym and drinking a lot of water. Last night I tried to use my Clarisonic (I haven't used it in quite awhile) but it just irritated my skin and made my face hurt worse. Now I remember why I haven't used it in a while :grumble: This morning I…
  • I had my gallbladder and an ovary removed on 10/25/13. My was taken out by laparoscope. They glued the holes shut and I could take a shower the next day, just be careful not to over wash the areas and remove the glue. I took pain killers for a few days and was a little sore but wasn't that bad. I was on a cruise 2 weeks…
  • When we (my mother and I) joined the gym they showed us the machines and set us up on a routine for 3 days a week. But we actually work out 5 or 6 days a week and just do the different routines each day. 1st day - arms and upper body machines 2nd - legs 3rd day - entire body We started with 2 reps of 10 on each machine for…
  • I just found this thread. I am also having a problem with breakouts. I do not wear makeup when I workout or walk. I usually walk 2 miles in the morning, hit the gym during the day and walk another 2-3 miles in the evening. My problem is that I have extremely oily skin but if I wash it after each workout or walk my face…

I know this sounds weird but it seems to curb my craving. I was a smoker for 33 years (quit 7 yrs ago) so over my years I went from being…
  • Highest was 222 in 2013 Lowest was 105 in 2001 I use to always weigh under 120. I was a smoker and never ate right. Looking back at old pictures now I see I was too skinny. I should have weighed between 120-125.
  • I absolutely agree with your philosophy on how our foods have changed over the years. I do believe they have contributed to most weight issues. Eating the right foods plus getting enough exercise are the key! With that being said I have a long way to go! I have started the exercising part, now I need some help in the food…
  • I just started Prince of Fire by Daniel Silva. This is the 4th book by him I have/will have read by him. His books are about an Israeli spy/art restorer.
  • I am also looking for a monitor that would track how many calories I burn at the gym each day. Most I have found seem to work with an iphone (which I do not have). Does anyone know of a monitor/tracker that would work with a Nokia windows phone?
