I'm almost afraid to lose too much weight because I feel the same way about mine! I'm worried that once there isnt enough fat to fill it out itll just be a flab of skin over the scar...have you found any ways to minimize it at least?! My doctor told me I will never get rid of it without having to have surgery :(

You could try yoga? I've heard it works really well and as far as i know there isnt any lifting involved! Good luck and I hope you start feeling better :)
