I'm in - i have a lot more to lose but 15lbs by summer would be a great start.

Anyone can add me, i am 32 and have the same amount to lose. I have lost in the past but for medical reasons and lack of willpower/exercise it's crept back on. I have been doing this again for 2 weeks, committed to losing 1lbs a week and so far im 5lbs down eating healthily and sensibly. Hoping that if i stick to 1lb…

I was diagnosed with this back in 2008, i lost quite a lot of vision, had very painful headaches and was taken to A&E. I was admitted to hospital and given an LP. I was then put on diamox for a year and had about 6 LP's to drain the fluid off my brain. Not nice but I walked and walked until i lost 30lbs and the symptoms…

Sorry to hear you have been struggling. I hope now you have decided to start over and have stepped on the scale (the worst part) you will realise you have a lot of help and support here for you and you can do this again. One day at a time. I understand where you are coming from because i lost around 30lbs on here in 2009…

I'm in exactly the same situation and had the same issues and im now back to the same weight. I ran a half marathon this March but i'm now back to the couch again :( I also picked up an injury after my race from pushing too hard in the final half mile. I think you (and myself included) need to break it down into manageable…

Thank you for all the great advice - i successfully completed my first half marathon last week and enjoyed every minute of it. Big thank you for calming my nerves.

I agree with the above posters, i feel the same as you but for me it feels psychological. I have felt a little lost after finishing my half marathon, after following the training plan for 12 weeks i now feel like i need some new goals too aim for. I think in the short term i will aim to shake up my exercise with some zumba…

Congratulations - loved your post. i have my half marathon a week today and im starting to get so nervous, im running for charity and i feel so pressured to complete it. It's only pressure i put on myself but i just want to enjoy it like you did. I enjoyed reading your post, it's nice to hear other peoples feelings as i…

Thank you so much for your reply. I think I will print this off and keep reading it to myself. I am forgetting why i am doing this (for charity) and letting my fears consume me. I think i have forgotten about the journey. Just a little over a year ago i was running from lampost to lampost and now i can run my whole city, i…

hey all, well i did 3 and a half weeks straight but then fell off the wagon as i was flat out busy with work and now im sick. I cant do it until my head cold is gone as i feel dreadful but i will make up for it in a few days when im back on my feet. I dont want the initial hard work to be in vain so i will catch up with…

Just finished L2 WK3 D1 - first time for me on level 2, not sure of this level, like the crunches but find all the lunges difficult with my achilles injury so i might have to adjust the movements for me. Glad to be out of Level 1 though.

so im confused im about to start week 4 but that is my beginning of L2 but others seem to be on L2 on week 3. Did you all just move up because you were ready to or have i been doing this wrong? im confused.

Just finished W3 D1 L1 felt a bit sluggish today but think its just because i had a long day at work. I also hurt my toe doing a backward lunge - not sure what i did there, so im not adding anything to it today. Can't believe i have 4 workouts left on level 1 and then i move up. Loving this DVD but ready to ramp it up now.
