Every day or second day. If i miss going to the toilet first thing in the morning i don't bother weighing in that day.

When i was having bad Gastro distress i looked in to the FODMAP diet too. I would have failed before i begun, i wouldn't have been able to restrict my diet that much :( I am so grateful the issues resolved themselves. OP i look 5mths pregnant after a meal, it does NOT matter what foods or in which combinations i bloat up…

I pay attention to protein, fat and fibre and don't really worry about carbs. Today my carbs are at 85g, yesterday they were 215g. I average around 30% carbs throughout the week.

When you find out let me know.... Someone posted this here the other day, which sums it up perfectly for me

I dont like the cookies and cream flavour either, way too fake sickly sweet tasting. Double chocolate chunk is the only Quest bar i really like.

You're forgetting fat. Peanut butter is high in fat, it contains more fat than protein/carbs. Fat is 9 calories per gram, carbs and protein are 4 calories per gram. ETA; 200 calories of peanut butter would satisfy me more than 200 calories of doritos. Your mileage may vary.

Maybe you shouldn't be clicking on low carb/keto threads for now

Very true. I'm fortunate in that i have plenty of time to exercise. If i had a full time job i would undoubtedly struggle.

Yep, it's the same here in Australia, us Ruffians call dinner "tea", and the uppercrusts call it dinner. I use dinner on here because it's a US site, and most everyone knows what it means.

It's working great, I'm losing at a good rate. The only downside is that you HAVE to exercise if you want to lose weight. I tend to rebel when i am forced to do things lol I just stick to regular walking, so it's not too much of a bother, you don't have to sweat it out in the gym for hours a day.

I'm only up to page 15, but my take on the bible topic is: I believe in God, but i don't believe in Religion.

I have my calories set to maintenance and use exercise to create a deficit.

I live near the beach and take my pup for an hour walk in the morning and then again in the evening, I carry him a lot of the way because he's still little. When he's old enough we'll easily do 3 or more hours a day. I can't wait!!

It might be the universe trying to tell you something

I honestly cant even remember if i lost weight while i was taking phentermine. The whole time is just a foggy memory :confounded: It completely changed my personality. I cried at the drop of a hat. I was moody and depressed. I was lucky to get a couple of hours of sleep a night, even when i took the pill at 4am. I got…

If people can give up hard core addictions like Alcohol, Heroin and cigarettes, you can give up soda. You have to be stronger than the cravings, it will get easier every day! Good luck

I've taken it and have nothing good to say about it.. It was a horrible experience. Once you stop taking your natural appetite will return and you'll be back at square one again.

As mentioned above, it's the opposite. The more water i drink, the more i pee and the less water retention i end up carrying around. On the days i drink little water i can feel it in my calves and ankles, as i get puffy and retain water.

I got down to my goal weight early last year of 143lbs (5'8"), i stayed there for a second lol It was incredibly stressful getting there and staying there. My whole world revolved around calories and exercise :( I'm currently at 153lbs, and that's where I'm staying. If i lose a few lbs in the mean time, then all good, if…

Same with mine, and i would do the same for him  It's called supporting your spouse and making their life easier, not harder.

Thank you so much for posting this. Makes me feel so much better about my paunch. OP change your goal from 2lbs a week to 0.5lbs. Having such a steep deficit will backfire, and you won't have the body you want in the end...

Acute Chronic Vomiting for me, that stuff is nasty! :confounded: Chugging it straight put me off of vinegar forever!!

Keto made losing weight for me a little easier, as it reduced my appetite and cravings. But i still had to calorie count as i could have easily gone over my deficit by not paying attention. I remember the calorie bomb when i made a smoothie, it was 1000 calories :open_mouth: It was very filling, but i never would have…

My husband is a chip and chocolate fiend! He is kind enough to wait til i go to bed to bring out his stash... "most" times. I do ask him not to buy my (our) trigger foods, and he agrees not to as he he is trying to lose a few kgs at the moment, so him not buying this stuff helps me, but also himself. He now only buys a…

My Fitbit definitely motivates me to move more! When i first got it 3 years ago, i had my goal set to 25,000 steps a day, i then changed it to 20k, and have reduced it by 5,000 steps at a time, and now my goal is a minimum of 10k a day. Ironically since i started walking less, my weight loss has picked up. The more i…

It's so funny that you guys on the other side of the world aren't walking as much because of the cold weather. Then there's me down under struggling to get in steps due to the sweltering heat. It's 42C (107F) here today. I've been taking the doglet for long beach walks at 6:30am every morning, then again in the evening.

I've become very proficient at pushing shopping carts with one hand

CarboHYDRATES = Water weight. I don't eat a low carb diet, but when i have a particularly higher than usual carby day i know the scale will spike up the next morning. I'm usually back down to normal the next day or two.

True, good point ☺

Same steps as me, 60 calories less than i got. Must be quite a difference in our height /weight. I'm 5"8 and 154lbs
