Firstly Welcome :-) Will power can be our own obstacle at times but it can equally be the one thing that changes our lives forever. I have found using my imagination and picturing myself in a smaller outfit a massive help on those days when you just 'can't be bothered' to think about what you're actually eating or…

Hi everyone, I'm also from Essex - Chelmsford. I joined MFP last May but didn't really use it properly until July last year and managed to loose 20lbs really quickly by using MFP. Then some would say I fell off the wagon over Christmas and gained 5lbs (surprised it wasn't more) but decided almost 4 weeks ago to get my…

I have hired a personal trainer who comes to my house and I raised the same question. He advised me to start with 20 minutes cardio. The other thing I do is to eat my breakfast slightly later than normal, say around 9:30-10; I'm lucky enough to be able to do that in my office without a…

I started at 250lbs last year, I lost 20lbs initially but fell off the wagon at Christmas and gained 5lbs but I'm back on track and have lost 20.5lbs int total since using this. I started back on my 'Shrink Liz' mission 2 weeks ago and this time round I have added people from various forums - people I don't even know - and…

I'm having the same issue with my left foot at the moment. I have had this before and it usually starts when I've changed from walking in heels to flats or if I've done more walking than normal.

That is fantastic, well done! I've been on MFP for a while now but only really buckled down and have been using it properly for a month now and the weight is coming off :-D. I love MFP and the fact that I can also use the app on my iPhone. You should be really proud of yourself :-)
