  • I've had it for a long time - probably noticed it around the age of 13 or 14.... Extremely painful, but I suppose I'm lucky since I only get it in my groin area... so my arm pits are okay. That being said, sometimes wearing certain pants, sitting down a certain way, and all that jazz hurts horrendously! Almost like I'm…
  • Oh college loans. I start paying mine back next month when I graduate, and I made stupid mistakes along the way because I was naive and didn't realize how big they could get. I also did not realize how insane tuition would go up over the span of 6 years. Yes, I dropped out twice to work full-time instead. I went back and…
  • Personally I have no issues on a low-carb diet. I haven't lost any of my brain function and I haven't lost my energy, in fact I have more energy. I can't eat gluten so that takes most of the processed crap out of my diet. However, I do still eat quinoa, potatoes, rice, and ICE CREAM (delicious) in moderation. The only…
  • I did the same thing a few weeks ago in which I thought "hey this sandwich won't hurt me!" No I was wrong, and was miserable for about 5 days. Then this past weekend we went to the diner. I thought, oh, this should be okay... some chicken with spinach, feta, and rice. The gravy had flour in it. Yesterday, I thought "Oh…
  • When I dropped my carbs and took gluten out of my diet my panic attacks actually subsided almost completely... I think it depends on the person. I still have one every once in a while, especially if I have too much food.
  • My boyfriend's mom actually rides and boards horses. She's 57 and in fantastic shape (especially her legs) which she attributes to the riding. I tried riding once and fell off, but did do it one more time. I was told I'm a nervous rider like she is, but it takes practice. I want to learn more about riding. I do know after…
  • I just purchased Stevia to use in baking and in my tea. I really like it. I've never liked sweet coffee... just give me the pure stuff.
  • I can't eat most of them anyway because they have gluten in them. I tend to stay away from high carb and high sugar things anyway. :D
  • I said I PERSONALLY took it as biased. It's fine if you disagree with me. I also do not view a vegan lifestyle as a "diet" or a way to lose weight. I see it as a respectable choice that people make. I also realize that FOK was not promoting it as a weight loss system. Like I said, you can lose weight on ANY of those…
  • I make gluten free cupcakes that are DELICIOUS and moist. I couldn't really tell the difference between normal cupcakes that had cream filling and those. I plan on trying cakes soon too!
  • That was my plan, just curious to see what others thought about it. I always see the "help I've binged!" threads, but never one where "help I anti-binged!"
  • I like the soup (if that website uses the same recipe I use). However, I wouldn't eat only that for 7 days. Sure you'd probably lose (crap out) some weight, but at the same time it's not sustainable. It's pretty much an extremely low calorie diet, because you can have like 4 cups of that soup for 170 calories or something…
  • I agree. I attempted to do a vegetarian diet and felt horrible. I don't think it's for everybody. I wasn't eating a lot of meat until recently, and since I've started incorporating it more into my diet, my blood pressure has gone down, my liver is no longer fatty, and my cholesterol is great according to my doctor. I do…
  • I tried it a few years back, I think when I was 19 or 20. Yes, it makes you have anal leakage if you don't cut the fat out of your diet. I used it for about a month and had to stop because I was constantly afraid of having an accident. I even wore a panty liner while taking it, which felt more like I was wearing a diaper.…
  • This sounds great! I'd love to do this, just need to be reminded!
  •
  • ^^^^This. Actually, I have a a very similar man myself, green eyes, blonde hair, and when I met him he was skinny. Settling down and eating my food, he pudged up perfectly. :) I prefer some meat on a man, not too much, not too little. I've never really been attracted to overly muscular guys, just a personal preference. :)
  • I like the fact that these ideas are not only great, but they are also very affordable!
  • Fantastic! I did just spot a case of water that is pretty heavy that I could lift around too, but those water jugs are so cheap! And I'd have a drink right in my hands.
  • I have to be careful with water. Sometimes I'll chug it and not realize I haven't eaten in a while, and then I'll feel very nauseous. Luckily, as long as I sit down and relax that feeling will go away, but I do try to be careful... it happens a LOT when I'm driving.
  • I lived with issues for years and accepted it after a while. However, I decided to try an elimination diet and took all gluten out of my diet. Needless to say, it cleared up and a lot of my stomach pains, constant fatigue, joint pain, and other fun pains went away. I reintroduced it ONE NIGHT and it was like I had set…
  • This is great advice, and I have developed this mindset over time. I never care how many minutes I spend working out, I care about how I feel afterwards and if I gave it the right level of intensity. Calories, I float around, sometimes way over, and it has not hindered my weight loss. Why? Well, I think it's because…
  • I agree with this. The only reason I eat low carb is for medical related reasons. Most people that do not have a medical related reason feel like crap when they go low carb (not everybody, but a lot of people do). If you're on a 1200 cal a day diet, that's pretty low as it is (not bad, just low). Instead of cutting carbs,…
  • You shouldn't feel guilty. I never do when I go out with friends and have a few drinks and eat something "bad". In fact, I usually rarely gain any weight from it. The key is every once in a while. I went over my calories by 771 yesterday and didn't gain a pound this morning. :)
  • Your body needs to rest when you're sick! Wait until you get better and then start exercising again... if you push it too hard, you'll feel worse. A week of no exercise isn't going to hurt your progress, at least it never has for me...
  • I think it's genetics... First time I lost a bunch of weight I went from a D to a DD... Band size stayed about the same, maybe lost an inch, wasn't exercising. They have never gone back down. I come from a line of well endowed women on both sides of my family. The only issues I have when losing weight is my back can't keep…
  • I'm also a college student, but will be graduating in May! College is the perfect opportunity to gain all that unwanted weight, isn't it? Feel free to add me if you'd like! :)
  • Some people have major mood swings when they go too low on carbs, or they just feel like total crap. I'm not one of those people, but I highly suggest making sure you keep veggies in your diet to keep things moving.. if you know what I mean. Meat and cheese can make you crap a brick. Look up lower carb fruits as well.…
