  • Congratulations! 70 pounds in 8 months - That's great! Keep up the good work!
  • What about water? Are you drinking enough? :drinker:
  • Good for you! You're not giving up! You're here and you are working on it. I've been struggling with my weight my whole adult life. I've gained and lost and gained again. I'm here to finally lose it and keep it off.
  • The episodes are rebroadcast on Friday nights on a different channel. FLN maybe. Search your guide you may get to watch them sooner. I agree about the set-up, although Miggy was doing good until her asthma started up.
  • I don't think I'm exactly diagnosing myself since I'm talking about either going to my family doctor or the orthopedic doctor that treated my other knee a few months ago. My problem right now is: IF it's arthritis, I need to keep moving. IF it's a injury, do I need to rest it.
  • I want in. What do I do?
  • You can add me as a friend. We can praise and encourage each other. Do you have friends in real life that would benefit from this site? My friend joined right after I did, and we help each other through this.
  • Water aerobics is a great idea! I wanted to let you know that I saw a program on my tv guide that had chair aerobics. Search your guide. Maybe you can get if free off tv and not have to buy a video.
  • This is a concern of mine, also. I Googled the subject just the other day. From what I read, there are several factors involved: 1. Your age (young skin is more elastic) 2. How much you were overweight 3. How long you were overweight 4. How fast you lost, and maybe more. They did say drink plenty of water and use…
  • The cake is beautiful, but so are you! You've done a great job!
  • A friend of mine tried them. She highly recommends them. I think I want to try them because they are supposed to reduce the stress to your knees. You can check them out on skechers.com.
  • If you can do easy walking, I like Leslie Sansone's walk videos. I have no experience at all with chair aerobics, but that might be an option for you. I just searched Amazon.com and they have quite a few chair aerobics videos. Keep up the good work. I think you are on the right track.
  • Have you discussed this with his doctor? I'm not sure I would concentrate on calories so much. Serve healthy meals. Let him have fun in physical activities. Let him help you set the bike level. If you make it work, he's not going to keep doing it. Be active with him, and keep it FUN!
  • I'm glad you asked that question. I had not seen them, but I want one, too. Thanks.
  • I'm new, too. I'd like to lose over 100 lbs from my highest weight. Over the last 5 years, I lost almost 70 pounds, but re-gained about half of that. So I'm seriously trying again. MyFitnessPal makes it easy to keep up with what I'm eating.
