  • Morgan - Hi! I think it's easiest to copy your original post then add the new details. As far as I can tell, you can only edit posts within an hour of originally posting them.
  • I think it's important for people to set their own goals....and I'm not an expert so I don't think it's down to me to give advice. Everybody is different - for some, slow & steady (eg, 1lb per week) is best and for others (especially if at the start or with a lot to lose) 10lbs in a month is a realistic goal. Personally, I…
  • Hi Everyone!!! I'm not looking forward to our last weigh in!!! February has been a bit of a lost cause for me....but I'll suck it up and move into March with renewed vigour!!! Just to let you know....I've set up the March Challenge, so join me on Sunday for that!!! Thanks Maria
  • Yup .....I'm setting one up for March too! Welcome along.
  • Hi Everyone!!! Well done for logging....and I see some people are very close to their goals for the month....that's fab!!! I've not had a great week and am changing my goal for the month to 165lbs instead of 160lbs....I lost my way a little in Feb after a fabulous January....so, bring on March!!!! I'll set the March group…
  • Excellent!!!! I'll set it up soon - it'll be ready for a March 1st weigh - in!!!
  • Hi there....I started this February group and will be starting one in March too as lots of people are finding it helpful....do feel free to join us for the rest of Feb and hop onto March too. I've personally had a 'not great' Feb after a brilliant Jan....so I need March to get back on track. Shout out to all Feb folks -…
  • Thanks - yup, very similar stats to my starting weight on Jan 1st!!! I'm 5'5" and was 181lbs at beginning of the year. Have dropped 12lbs so far and aiming for goal of 140lbs. You look great at 155....I'd have said you were in the 140s....very toned so you've obviously lost fat & gained muscle. Nice work!!!
  • Wow! Great work! I have a similar body shape to your 'before' photo....can I ask your stats, please? Height, weight before & after? Thanks.
  • Hi everyone!!!! Been reading all your posts and very impressed with some HUGE weight loss!!!! But, whatever your situation - loss, gain, same - well done for logging and keeping with the challenge!!! I've been a bad OP/thread leader for the past few days as I had an indulgent Valentines Day and some comfort eating/drinking…
  • You are SO very pretty (before & after)!!! Is that the same dress in both pics? Quite a dramatic difference! Happy for you that you are healthier now after your injury/trauma.
  • Hi gals I did 30 day shred a few years ago and really noticed a difference but I'm afraid I can't remember how much I lost! I've also done 6 week 6 pack which REALLY helped the waist/tummy area. I'm 5'5" and 12 stone....also looking to lose 2 stone!!! Have been thinking about adding in some JM DVDs to my exercise routine…
  • Well done!!!!
  • Good Morning!!!! Well done for logging everyone and it's great to see lots of people doing so well. Not had a great week personally but that has given me a good kick up the bum to get back on track..... Name: Maria Age: 42 Height: 5'5" Start weight (1st Feb): 167.5lbs Goal weight (1st March): 160lbs Weigh ins: 1st Feb:…
  • It is sometimes so hard to see the difference and even when the scales show a difference and the measurement drop, you can't see or feel it personally. I've lost 14lbs since New Year and lots of inches (inc. 5" on my tummy) but I really didn't notice the difference. My husband and friends did though! My hubby took photos…
  • Excellent results and I love your sensible & patient approach. Well done & good luck in getting to your goal. You are doing great & are an inspiration.
  • Sarah Jane Nolan - awesome job!!!! You look amazing! Completely different shape. Well done!
  • Amazing difference! How much have you lost?
  • Well done, Mac!!!! I've been a runner for years and have a few 10Ks, couple of halves and a full Marathon under my belt. Unfortunately I've suffered injuries that put me out for months & led to weight gain, decreased fitness and stress. But, I'm building up my fitness again and am back up to 3 runs a week (usually one 3…
  • Hey everyone!!! To folk who have just joined us on this thread - welcome along!!! Anyone & everyone is welcome to join us at any time. • Hi there I'm 42 and 5'5" SW: 181lbs (Jan 1st 2015) CW:167lbs GW: 140lbs (or maybe lower) Will post before, during & after photos once I'm happy that I'm at the right goal weight!
  • Good Morning!!!! Well done to everyone who posted their updated weigh ins. Some fabulous losses there. I only managed 0.5lbs despite lots of exercise and keeping within my cal goals. I guess our bodies are mysterious organisms and don't always follow the rules we expect from them! Not to worry....am just going to keep on…
  • Hi everyone!!!! So how's the 1st weigh-in going? Had a quick read through and most people are doing really well. So well done everyone no matter what the scales say!!! Name: Maria Age: 42 Height: 5'5" Start weight (1st Feb): 167.5lbs Goal weight (1st March): 160lbs Weigh ins: 1st Feb: 167.5lbs 8th Feb: 167lbs 15th Feb:…
  • Hiya, I was 181lbs on Jan 1st 2015 and at 5'5" that put me at just 'obese' (BMI 30.2)....quite a shock!!! Am down to 167lbs now and aiming for 140lbs or less. How long did it take you to go from 181 to 143? By the way, my skinniest adult weight (at age 28, I'm 42 now) was 124lbs....which was tiny on my 5'5" medium frame. I…
  • Welcome along everyone!!! And Good Luck to us all in our first weeks weigh in!!!!
  • I'm a stay-at-home mum with school age children (aged 5 & 7). Every school morning once I've dropped them off I exercise - Mon/Weds/Fri = running, Tues = walk/swim (I also do an hour of kickboxing in the evening), Thurs = swim. When my kids are getting ready for school, I get ready for my exercise session, ie, put my…
  • Excellent attitude!!! I'm a runner too - have several 10Ks, 2 half-Marathons and a full Marathon under my belt. I gained weight partly due to a spate of injuries that prevented me from running for a while. Getting fitness back up now and can do 10K in an hour....need to up my distance then work on aiming for a PB in a June…
  • I had 3 small glasses of wine last night (my first alcohol since New Year = 5 weeks off!!!) and I just really enjoyed the wine, didn't feel the need to drink more than those 3 glasses and didn't get the wine munchies and demolish hundreds of cals worth of snacks!!!!
  • Wow!!! Fabulous progress! Well done - you look great! Do you have a particular goal in mind? Also what height & age are you? I'm a similar shape/size as your January photos - I'm 42, 5'5" and was 181lbs on Jan 1st, am now 167lbs....aiming for 140lbs (or maybe a little lower) by June as it's my 10 year Wedding Anniversary…
  • Hi Everyone!!! Who's looking forward to their Sunday weigh in??? I have to admit...I'm not expecting much of a loss this week but I'll suck it up and log it. Good Luck everyone!!!
