60 lbs since last April. I have finally reached my pre-marriage weight of 165 and I can finally wear my wedding ring, something I couldn't say for about 18 of our 20 years of marriage.

Type two diabetes scared me straight.
    Beautiful story.

Everyone has done so great! I have lost 38 pounds total. I started at 'obese' when I was 181 (I was right on the line between obese and overweight) and I am now at a healthy weight at 143. I am trying to get down to 120-125 :) I can't wait until I can post a before and after lol.

Hiya, I was 181lbs on Jan 1st 2015 and at 5'5" that put me at just 'obese' (BMI 30.2)....quite a shock!!! Am down to 167lbs now and aiming for 140lbs or less. How long did it take you to go from 181 to 143?

By the way, my skinniest adult weight (at age 28, I'm 42 now) was 124lbs....which was tiny on my 5'5" medium frame. I don't think I'll ever get back there (what looks good on a 20-something can look aging on a 40-something) but I'll see how I feel at 140lbs as to whether to go lower.

    Good Luck with your goal!!!

I started logging my food on Jan. 8th and so far have lost 8 lbs. I set up to lose 1 lb per week, but when I workout I don't usually eat any of the calories back.

I lost 28lb. It took me a year. I haven't gained it back and I lost 2 additional sizes in the year following from becoming more active. (well, way more active)

Hi all, well done everyone. Mine seems quite feeble compared to the achievements here but I am 38lb lost since June 14. Today I joined the 11 stones club and that has made me smile.

24 lbs down since 1 May 2014 ("before", "during", and current pics in my profile). Hit my highest weight (outside of pregnancy) at 161lbs. I'm now down to 137lbs (5'6"). Working on shedding just a couple more lbs of fat, gaining strength/retaining muscle, and being the most fit version of my self I can be.

I'm a SLOOOW loser (by choice, I don't "do" well with aggressive calorie restriction), but I've done well to stay the course and make modest changes for my health and fitness that I can sustain for a lifetime.

That, and I just bought a new wardrobe that includes several pairs of amazing looking size 4 (US) jeans, trousers, and size small blouses. I'm NOT buying bigger clothes ever again (clothing is NOT cheap, lol ;) ).

I've lost 100 lbs, put on 27 lbs, and down 99 lbs now...so almost back to 100 lbs. I have 39 lbs to go. It took me two years for the 100 lbs and in 8 months I put on the 27 lbs (I stopped using the myfitnesspal), and six months to lose the 26 lbs. Hopeful I lose the 39 lbs in 6 months or close since I will be 51 years old! I have just always changed it up some way and I'm eating organic.
