If you're going to use it in something like tacos or spaghetti sauce, you can drain it and rinse it with hot water in a colander after it's cooked it's basically the same as 90/10 after that.

I'm not sure I understand the question - pretty much the only things that are calorie free are water and most artificial sweeteners. Vegetables are low calorie, but they are not calorie free.

What are you doing on the weekends? If it were me I'd try to squeeze in a short workout or two during the week, and then plan for a longer period of time on the weekends.

I just do them. A few weeks ago I was doing them with an unpadded bar, and in between sets this guy came over and said "We're getting a pad for the bar within the next week or so.' I said thanks. He left, and then walked back over 30 seconds later and said "I'm on the gym planning committee...I'm not just some weird guy…

The guy from Zug.com ate them for an entire week. You can imagine what happened.

Light movement seems to help me with DOMS - gets the blood flowing and moves out the lactic acid and stuff, I guess. I started a kettlebell work out at the beginning of the month and after the first workout I was crazy sore. Did a couple slowish walks on the treadmill between workouts 1 and 2. BCAA supplements during the…

I'm currently doing the 10,000 kettlebell swings challenge at home.

I really like Oloves. Single serving packets of seasoned olives, my favorites are the basil and garlic, and lemon lovers. Only about 50-ish calories per packet.

They're not drinking half a bottle of vodka. They're drinking half a bottle of a vodka-based mixed drink. 14.9% abv - there are beers and wines higher than that. And the fact that it's a mixed drink rather than a pure spirit is also why the calories are higher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taboo_(drink)

Well, I ended up trying my theory - did four short runs and one walk on the treadmill (at a couple different running speeds), and adjusted the calibration a little each time. My last run was within a few hundredths of what the treadmill said, so I thought I was all set. Ran my known 10K again today, and now it's wildly off…

I've never run in Nike shoes - always have used the shoelace pouch.
-
Hmm. I wonder if it has to do with the app itself then?
-
I've used the Nike+ app since January of 2009 and never had this issue before - but I've only ever had to recalibrate it on the order of 2-3% every once in a while. I did some runs with the old iPod on a trail that has measured mile markers and it was pretty spot on then.

You're incredible!!

I have an on-again, off-again thing with running, but when I'm training for a race I limit lifting to twice a week.

Not really. http://examine.com/supplements/Garcinia+cambogia/

Simplest way to bulk solo: GOMAD. You both eat the same things, he drinks a gallon of milk a day. Instantly adds 120+ grams of protein and 1600 calories to his diet. He could even go halvsies and two QOMAD, still gets him 60g and 800 calories.

See, did you catch that sneaky non-reference that makes their claims look legit? This is true. But then... They tack on their unfounded claim in the very next sentence, making you think that the Mayo Clinic has proven the 300-calorie burn figure. No such citation exists.

Caveat - I barely sweat while working out, unless it's a hot yoga class or I'm running outside in July. But I only wash my hair every 4 days or so. Wash in the evening and let it air dry overnight, straighten the next day. That will get me 2-3 days with no problems. Dry shampoo will get me an extra day or two of wearing it…

The only thing that determines the length of your muscles is the length of your bones and where the muscles attach to them. OP, in my personal research I've found that a few short sessions of cardio (20-30 min 2-3x a week) are recommended even when bulking. One reason is that a little bit of cardio can increase the…

Can you do something like a recumbent stationary bike, so you don't have to worry about balance issues/vertigo and keep your upper body fairly stable?

Winner.

This seems to have turned out to be yet another one of those posts where "rude" = "doesn't agree with me". Whatevs. Good luck with your ketones.

Methinks you missed the joke.

Looks like it's a blend of soy and whey, with some added calcium. You could get essentially the same thing mixing regular whey protein with soy milk, and then taking a calcium supplement.
-
One scoop Optimum Nutrition whey and a cup of So Delicious 5x Protein almond milk. Drinking one right now, actually.

Decimals??? You had 0.8 servings of the 100g entry. You don't have to do any other math, just change the serving size in your diary.

No. Here's their citation for their claim that saunas burn 600 calories an hour on their website: "Journal of the American Medical Association, August 1981." No authors, no issue, no page numbers. Shoddy work. It just so happens that I have access to JAMA though. They are referring to a LETTER TO THE EDITOR (not a…

Yeah, 2lbs a month is about 230 calorie surplus. I erred on the side of slightly higher because it's sometimes hard to account for how many calories I burn while teaching yoga (because when I sub, my schedule varies). I tend to work chin-ups randomly because I have a doorway bar on my walk-in closet. Probably hitting my…
